Micro-Mark Digitrax AR1 Single Auto Reverser

This is the third Digitrax reverser that I have purchased over the last five years. I have three reversing loops on my layout and all three reversers work perfectly every time. You don't even know they are there and neither do the locomotives. The switching is very fast and here is no delay or pause has the locomotives move to and from the track controlled by this circuit. There is a small adjusting screw that you might have to use to set the trip conditions for your layout. It comes with very easy to follow instructions for making this adjustment. I highly recommend this product.

This auto reverse unit works very well. That being said the instructions are over simplified. Watch a video for complete wiring. It is easy but there are things you should know before wiring so you don't damage your power supply or the auto reverser.

This certainly helps one that does not have much knowledge on technology wiring. But this is an excellent product that will you’ll be very happy with.

I used this to create a wye for my N Scale railroad. I use Kato Unitrack, and it was as simple as cutting the feed line that goes into a 3-way splitter and attaching each end to the appropriate legs on the AR1. It worked perfectly the first time I used it and has worked perfectly every time since. I then mounted it on the side of my module, underneath the track and it was hidden from sight.

I use this to power the track on my Peco turntable, and a reverse polarity track off the turntable. It is very easy to wire, and small enough to hide in the foam next to the turntable. I’m using a Unitrax DCC system which should be helpful for compatible operation, but I see no reason that there would be any problem with other brands.

Set it up with the trip current almost as low as it would go and ran several locos through the loop. Even consisted a BLI Challenger and Big Boy with smoke running to load it up and still worked like a charm. I previously tried the MRC controller but its trip current was too high and caused my SB5 to short and shut down. This AR1 works perfectly. Will order another one for sure.
