This is a great bluetooth adapter that I'm using in my 2001 Oldsmobile with its original CD player that I wanted to update to handsfree BT. It works so well and has pretty good noise cancelling. So may people have complemented that they think I'm not even in a car. It also has operation by fm signal if you would rather that for even easier connection, just tune your car radio to a selected radio station and then follow a few more instructions and it is all simple. The range is very strong and is more than enough even if you want to use it just for audio like to use it to transfer audio to speakers in your trunk to amplifiers. The quality is very high, just use a higher quality rca cable than what is included and the sound quality will rise too. This is a pretty handy device. Easily recognized by smartphones and quickly connected.I use it connected by rca outputs to speaker amplifiers in my trunk and then by BT to my smartphone and there is no volume control of the voice prompts of the device so you want to make sure the amplifiers are turned off before turning on/off the BT device because the prompts "BT on, BT off, BT connected," will be at full volume and are not adjustable. This is a big problem to be aware of and can harm speakers.Thank you so much.

Worked like a charm right out of the box. This transmitter/receiver managed well placed in a room with several walls and lost of metal materials nearby and easily connected and operated with a BT sound bar down the hall over 20 feet away.

Easy setup, after plugging into power a TV, my new earbuds connected flawlessly. Just remember to disconnect Bluetooth on your phone if you're already connected your earbuds to the phone. Once connected you can watch TV without disturbing others. You choose your own preferred volume. I also fined that I can distinguish foreign accents, particularly British, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh, much easier using earbuds or headphones.I've had no problems with static and can pretty much range my apartment without disconnecting. Head into the fridge doesn't work so well. Otherwise, functions as well as my phone connection.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It's totally frustrating when listening to music at a comfortable listening level, only to hear "BLUETOOTH DISCONNECTED" screaming at you so loud that our ears are ringing! There is no way to mute or adjust the volume of the annoying voice prompts on this box. This makes it completely inappropriate and possibly dangerous to use for any serious sound system. In RX mode, even with the playback device at full volume, the voice prompts are so much louder than the bluetooth music that it's possible to damage speaker drivers and cause hearing damage simply from the connected phone leaving the bluetooth range. Computer voice prompts are dystopian and usually unnecessary, especially in devices connected to a sound system. These types of engineering errors should not exist. How is it possible that this went unnoticed by the makers of this device? Setting an appropriate volume for a voice prompt, or even allowing it to be muted is certainly wouldn't have added any addition costs. This is lazy engineering. Avoid this at all costs, unless you want to be screamed at by a computer voice while listening to your music.

I wanted to use this with my with my in-ear monitor to allow me to play bass and not be wired. The delay in this system was too great. The monitor was almost 1 to 2 beats behind the live sound.Setup worked great and sound quality was good.
