Good quality bulb holder.

nice fit for replacing B22 with E27 fitting
pros- easy fit for cables, simple slide and hold- easy to take apart and put together- solid constructioncon- slightly larger diameter than antipated, so could not use on 1 lamp- no cable grab, so if the old one is broken then that is a concern.

Bit flimsy but works
The bulb holder works but I'm not impressed by the lack of secure cable fixing. The wires don't seem to be held well (just a spring clip), so nothing to actually support much weight.To get round this, I attached a cable tie around the cable just below the clip-on shroud - this then takes the weight of the lamp / lamp shade.Hope this helps others who may be struggling!

Horrific quality - buy elsewhere
This is a dreadful quality item, the metal contacts are way to thin and very poor quality. There is no way that I'd wire this into my house. I can't imagine what the CE mark embossed on the side of it means - it's certainly not up to standard to be CE approved - unless it stands for Chinese Excrement?

No instructions. Push fit for the wires very flimsy
No instructions about where the wires go. Not even a + or - sign stamped on the unit. So if you get the wires the wrong way round it could give you a shock; check that the inner connector is live and the outer one is neutral.Feeble push fit rather than screw fit.In my case, the unit was slightly larger than the original bayonette fitting that was broken so it was very fiddly to retrofit. Took all evening!
