The price is probably stopping many potential buyers.However. It does seem like a very good product and one important thing is that it is "L-ascorbic acid". Most Vitamin C is a mix of D and L ascorbic.L is what you want.This is buffered as they say with calcium. It is easy on the stomach.Overall I like this C, and I've tried a ton of different ones.

I used to buy this brand of C in powder but it went bad before able to use it all. The tablets are much more shelf stable.
