Autel is VERY confusing with its various models and variations of its tools. The 808 series of scan tools is a nice bi-directional tool that has good support and updates and won't blow the bank for more enthusiasts who simply want to read some codes and interrogate certain modules in their cars to help with their diagnosis.However, Autel recently came out with some updates to the 808 series - the MK808S, the S denoting some hardware and software updates. The tool works exactly the same as before, but the S adds Android 11 (big change from Android 4.4.4) and updated chipset/CPU.Sadly, the 808 in this listing is the old version, NOT the "S" version. If you are going to spend almost five hundred bucks on a scan tool, I think you should get the latest and greatest or at least offer a good discount for the older tool. Therefore, unless Amazon decideds to discount these tools, go purchase a "S" version with the newer hardware and operating system.
