Killer way to make a portable drive out of a spare SSD or harddrive you have laying around.
A little flimsy. But at the price point an awesome deal Guarantee the hinge will be the first thing to break but it should only need to be opened 1 or 2 times. Buy 1 for each drive. Two things it needs a spacer for the thin drives or they are loose inside. I made my own out of a piece of thin plastic. Just wedged it on top of the drive. If you try to clode the door it seem like it won't line up. If you do iy carefully pushing the thinned areas in to place as you close it will line up. When I closed mine it bulged on one side no doubt because of my homemade spacer. The case door has a ridge of plastic in this area. I took a sharp chisel and dhaved that ridge out and prrsto the case closed and it is lined up perfectly with no bulge area. Drive is plug and play. It is recognized instantly. I installed a 256GB Toshiba SSD in that case I will be buying two more for the two Samsung 750GB hybrid harddrives I salvaged from My HP dv8 18.4 in laptop. I installed those. They are like brand new.

Very good enclosure for the price
I'll keep it short and simple. The enclosure is very lightweight, plasticky, feels cheap & opening is flimsy. BUT the speed is better than other enclosure. I've tested this with a SSD, connected to a MacBook Air by USB 3.1 and achieved ~370Mbps read and write, which is about ~30 to 40 more than other brand.:::Things I like:::>>> Very lightweight with a SSD.>>> Very slim, but little longer in length.>>> Attached USB cable is a plus.>>> Good speed>>> SSD/HD stays secure enough. Not too bad.:::I don't like:::>>> The quality of the plastic (again, what can I ask for this price😑) (I wish they come up with good quality one with a higher price).>>> The flap doesn't close flat. There is a gap after you close the flap.>>> Looks cheap and ugly.:::Do I recommend:::YES, if you> want something cheap (<$10)> are looking for a enclosure with attached cable.> want something lightweight and slim.:::My use:::I use it with a 256GB Silicon Power SSD, as a Windows 10 boot drive for my MacBook Air. Works flawlessly!

Pretty Good
I had a 1TB HDD laying around after installing an SSD in a laptop and didn’t want to waste it. I chose this enclosure mainly because of the built in cable. It is a little short but I’d rather have this than a detachable cable that vanishes. The build quality is okay. It’s plastic though. And I mean. Ehh? I don’t know. It doesn’t offer a whole lot of protection and hopefully it won’t have any thermal issues. I will say it is easy to install the drive though. Simply open the back, insert the drive until it connects with the ports, and close the back until it pops over the latch. Done. It fits snug and doesn’t have any vibration or rattle issues like I’ve had with other enclosures. So points gained there.Other than that it’s very easy to use. Plug it in and bam it works. There’s not a whole lot behind that. And for the price it’s a really good value for money. So. I can’t really complain. It’s a nice overall package. Just not the biggest fan of the plastic build. And hopefully it’ll hold up.

Handy for re-using old 2.5 inch drives as backup drives. Reasonably priced.
This is the second one I've purchased, and I find them very handy and reasonably priced. No issues with either the USB-A one I originally purchased or the USB-C one I just purchased. Would recommend.

My new favorite
My new favorite case. I've bought tons of cases like this and this one appears to be the best yet. Case is durable, built in cable is a nice idea. No more cases that use the micro-B connector, they seem to get damaged with repeated use. Had bunch of Orico cases that only lasted a couple years.
