Marantz SR6015 9.2 Channel 8K AV Receiver with 3D Audio and HEOS (Renewed)

If you’re wondering whether to buy this receiver, I highly recommend it. It plays sound like you never heard it before. It requires some pretty good speakers, I went with the Klipsch, and it’s amazing sound. It requires some time to set everything thing up, including speaker configuration and a few hours working with the settings but for me this was half the fun. To be honest I haven’t compared it directly with the competition, I just know that it exceeded my expectations. I’m truly happy with my Marantz receiver. I’ve had it almost a year now and sometimes I’m still surprised by the quality of the sound when it plays music and television.

I replaced an outdated Yamaha with this Maranta. The thing that sold me was the "Height" option. We have a center channel and two from speakers built into our wall, and two speakers in the ceiling toward the back of the room. With the Yamaha, I had to just use those as surround. Using them as Height makes all the difference in the world! Surround just sounds better this way.The way music in a movie or TV show sounds now is so much better. It doesn't take away from the center channel, so we get great sounding music while still hearing the dialog clearly. I also like that it switches between sources by just clicking the remote of the source we want. So I can be streaming an use my cable remote to switch to that instead of using the Marantz remote. I barely use the Marantz anymore because the volume and switching can all be done on my regular remotes.Overall great value and sound for the money!
