I use several of these scales for training our barista staff and for QC cupping at our roasting center. They have a great battery life and very accurate. Always solid.

Oldest to newest:BasicBasic PlusBasic ProBasic 2.0Basic MiniThis version is the Basic, which does not have the most sensitive and or fast measurement for weight. The photos do not show the right hand side, each model has it's own recognisable layout. Without the description being exact, or without complete photo sets, it is difficult to determine the model name. The Basic is the only model to have a totally smooth top, without indented buttons. On YouTube, the channel "Josh - HisBrew Coffee Roastery" has a video "Timemore Coffee Scale Showdown." There you will discover the smallest differences in the model features. Thanks, and Best Luck.

3rd times a fail
We bought a shop 4 years ago and bought our first Black Mirror scale. I treated us well so we bought a second a little over a year ago. We bought our third recently as the first one we had finally cracked from heat and age. It was still working correctly but I ordered a third to replace it.That one arrived, we finally got it in use, and less than a month of use it stopped working. Not from being dropped or dropping something on it. It had been working fine and then I use it jumped hundreds of grams, flickered, and then shut off. After turning back on it stopped working. We had to contact the seller because it was past the Amazon return period. We sent photos, which was limited by Amazons media upload limits so we could not send video. They told us to tare out the scale as that should fix it. After 4 years of using these scales I know how to utilize the scale so that is not the issue. After sending additional information we've heard no response. I would have included my video but I did not want to show the Brand of coffee (12 oz) that I used as they are not related to this incident at all so I included a few stills from the video showing the weight readout on the new scale, the transfer to our old scale that shows the crack and the label tape we had on it, and the weight on the old cracked scale which was accurate.
