Yes it would fit a credit card size but may be difficult to get it out.

Q: I set it up with a code and it worked ok for a few weeks but now it opens with any code. How can I fix this?

It has holes in the back to allow it to be screwed to something to fix it in place - if you can put screws into your caravan then I assume it would work
