Create Your Own Board Game (Blank Checkers & Chess)

Such a great idea, gives kids a big window to create a cool game we loved creating a family game .

My son had to create a board game for his science class and this was the perfect blank canvas. He did really well and received an "A'

Son used this for a school science project in which he had to create his own board game with dice or spinner, cards, or tokens. It had to have rules too. Everything was in box, as expected. (Blank spinner, blank dice, plenty of blank cards, blank game board, and typical colorful game pieces. The box was even blank so one could design that as well. Served his purpose and he received an A. ;). Sturdy and you get your monies worth for certain. Definitely let’s one focus on creating what counts and look pretty “professional”. Only thing I can think of that could maybe improve this would be to add a large, sturdy card to create the rules on (we had to create our own). Also, liked the colorful game pieces but maybe the option to create your own (card board piece and stand like mini paper dolls?) would have been nice. He added pipe cleaners and sharpie-d on faces to make “aliens” for the given game pieces so it would be more on theme for his game. Due to the glossiness of the card board used (just like a normal game), he needed to use sharpie, instead of any old marker or highlighter, to keep things from smearing on the glossy finish. Crayon worked well too.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 8 year old. The kit comes with many different items that fight nicely into the box so it is easily kept organized. Great quality gift that allowed him to use his creative side to create his own game! He used the blank cards included to then make a card game as well. Wonderful gift to encourage children to be creative. Endless possibilities of fun!

This came exactly as pictured and better quality than expected! It’s a great item, especially for the price!I bought it to make a game for a gift. And now my kids want to make their own games! I think it would be a great activity to teach kids about game play and such.
