Good basic art desk
I needed a basic desk with an adjustable desktop for drawing. There appear to be several brands selling desks that look nearly identical, but I eventually went with this one. After reading several reviews for all the different desks, this one seemed to be the best bet.I'm glad I chose this one, because it seems to be deserving of the good reviews. First the assembly was fairly easy. I was able to assemble it by myself in a little over an hour with no real problems. I recommend really taking your time to read the instructions thoroughly before assembling this desk. All the parts needed were included and everything looked to be in good condition. The instructions could have been a little more detailed, but overall were not too hard to follow. Now that it's assembled I've had a chance to try it out and overall I like it. Moving the desk top up and down is really easy and the whole unit feels very sturdy. The drawers are made of cloth and feel just a bit flimsy, however they're not too bad, especially if you're just using them for lightweight objects like pencils and erasers. I would not use them for storing books or heavy objects. The desktop incline goes up pretty high if you want it to, so I imagine this will suit the tastes of most any artist. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the included stool. It's just not very comfortable, although I am a 6'2" man that weighs over 250 lbs, so maybe a smaller person would find this more comfortable. However, everything appears to be made out of quality materials and should hopefully last a long time. All I was looking for was a sturdy, basic desk for drawing that cost less than $100, and this one fit the bill. I'm satisfied with this desk, and aside from the less than stellar stool, I have no complaints.

Decent desk, I like it.
I bought this desk so I would have a better space to work from home.Pros:-Can clip goose-necked lamps to it, other clampable things to it because it's only 1/2" thick-Easy to assemble-I screwed a small wooden assembly into the top so I could have a higher place to clamp my camera to, it's still holding just fine. I don't know what it's made of but I don't think it's solid wood. Particle board? But with predrilled holes I was able to screw into it.-the little cabinet is great, I bought another unit to go on top, and use it as a place to put my second monitor.-For me the drawers being made of fabric is a plus, it allows more flexibility when I try to cram in items that are too big to fit quite right.-I like that the structure for supporting it is not like a wood desk, as in I can see in and around it easier. I can also put cables every which way and have them go where I want without worrying about drilling or cutting a hole, and I have put velcro stickers around the various areas so I can stick my usb hubs to my desk. It's neat.Cons:-the black top is actually a thin layer of what I think is polyvinyl. There is a space where it started to come up, and when it does it doesn't chip, it tears. I'm pretty hard on things (soldering iron damage, poking it with my pen because i'm fidgety) so I know that at some point this whole plastic coating is going to have to go. I must point out: the first damage I found on it did not come from me, and I still don't know how the first hole came to be.-I'm not such a big fan of the lower shelf. I like that I can put things on it, but I never know where to put my feet.-I knew that the little stool it came with wouldn't be good enough so I got myself a decent chair. I use the stool for reaching high places in my kitchen though, so it wasn't completely useless.-the shelves that hold the fabric drawers are easily bent or otherwise damaged.-I don't leave the pencil ledge on this when I use it for office work. if I leave it on, it will get bent out of shape, and irritate my arms and my wrist tendons. I have to put it back on anytime i decide to use the tilting aspect of the desk. It's made of very cheap metal and easy to bend, not a good thing. As yet unknowns-How hard is it to disassemble?-How many times can I remove and add back the pencil ledge until the holes are stripped?-will it float in water?-is it a witch?

Read for honest review ❤️
The assembly was pretty easy as long as you read the instructions and followed them properly. The only issue that I ran into was the fact that I needed a screwdriver which didn’t come with the Allen wrench. The price is great i looked at 20 other desks and this one was the cheapest. It came to my house 2 days after I delivered it! Overall it has great storage and its a very nice desk for an artist. I would recommend having someone around to help assemble it, doing it alone is pretty difficult. It took about an hour to put together.

Good choice for art stuff
I bought this table because I needed a space to do both paint and oil pastels and I really don’t like stand up easels. All put together I think this will be the best I’ve ever had for a space for my art life. It suggests putting together with two people involved. But. I put it together all by myself as a small woman. It was a little challenging at times, but overall not super hard and can absolutely be done if you are by yourself. Make sure you have a Phillips head screwdriver as it does not come with one and one is needed. I also used my own Allen wrench but the one provided is fine. It took me about two hours to put the table together by myself. I did a lot of flipping the table in different ways to make it easier to attach some parts. Directions were easy to follow. All parts came labeled clearly. The stool was a whole pain to put together and probably took me a half an hour with just that. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. It seems sturdy and there is plenty of space to work.
