SAMSUNG HW-Q600B 3.1.2ch Soundbar w/Dolby Audio 2022 (Renewed)

I was conflicted about buying the renewed sound bar so I opted for the 2 year extended warranty, which hopefully I will not need. I contacted Samsung and they confirmed it has a 90 day manufacturer warranty.The Sound Bar works wonderfully! The savings were great and with the extend warranty, it was a fantastic deal!My only criticism is the Samsung Manual only covers a very basic connection guide. Setup was easy once I figured out where and how to mount it. I had to position the Sound Bar above the TV since there was no room in front of the TV on my entertainment center. I read a lot of reviews and there were lots of pro's and con's on mounting above the TV, and in the end, I am pleased with it above the TV. IT Sounds Great!Everything works except I had trouble setting it up to control the volume using the Fire TV remote. I have it connected with HDMI-ARC! I have the TV Speakers OFF, and TV Audio format set to Bitstream. HDMI-CEC is enabled on TV and Fire TV Stick. The Problem was the Fire TV Stick HDMI-CEC would send conflicting signals and the TV Remote would no longer work after I cycled power of TV and Sound Bar Off then On. I had to setup Fire TV to control the Sound Bar. To do this go to settings, "Equipment Control" and then select sound bar and then follow the setup guide for the sound bar.

Got this to go with our new Samsung 65” OLED and couldn’t be happier.The sound is phenomenal including the sub and rear speakers. Rears and sub install and connect easily via Bluetooth. I attached this soundbar via HDMI for best performance.As fully compatible with the Samsung TV, it uses the TV speakers in concert with the system and perfectly works from the Samsung or cable provider universal remote.It is loud and powerful and we rarely have above 25% of full volume.The soundbar sits on a table about 8” below and slightly in front of the plane of the TV which allows the sound to project in all directions as intended.The black matches the TV screen and sub perfectly and I much prefer it to the newer gray colors.The width is the soundbar is perfect for the TV and does not overwhelm it.And best of all the item sold as Used was actually Brand New in a factory sealed box.Outstanding value and quality! Love it!!!!!

The add I bought from specifically said bonus rear speakers included. It does not include the rear speakers. Do not buy if you are expecting the rear speakers

Please don't believe any reviews that say speakers are NOT included.... they are and the whole system is directly from Samsung.... branded box and all! Everything was packaged as if it were NEW! Delivery was sooner than expected .... this was a perfect deal. With the AMAZON'S extended warranty this came to be a BETTER deal than directly from Samsung. Base price $1299.... renewed price $649.... Samsung's extended warranty at their sight is astronomical where as the ASURION warranty is very reasonable.... the total cost is half of Samsung's list price. BEST BUY ON AMAZON ....IMHO!UPDATE: I AM WAITING FOR THE SELLER TO RESPOND .... UPON A CLOSER LOOK I DID NOT GET THE CORRECT SUB WOOFER FOR THIS PACKAGE... SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE NEW DESIGN AND THIS ONE ISN'T.... WE WILL SEE WHAT THE SELLER DOES ABOUT IT.... ONE THING I KNOW IT WOULD NOT BE "RIGHT" TO CHANGE THE REQUIRED ITEMS WITHIN THE PACKAGE.... THE SUB WOOFER IS NOT AN ACCESSORY... RIGHT NOW I AM A BIT UPSET. I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH THE RESULTS.

You only get the sound bar and a sub, no rear speakers as advertised. Yes you save a ton of money but it was disappointing when unboxing to not find what was advertised. I will be returning based off of disappointment a lone we can’t let companies miss lead us.

I was an audiophile in my younger days when I had $$ to burn so it doesn't satisfy those needs. It's not perfect but it is definitely passable. The woofer puts pretty good put pretty good bass although it can be a bit boomy on some songs but that's easily remedied because you can easily back it down with the remote. The high end isn't perfect either but it's not too bad. The surround sound gives it pretty good transparency and is fun with movies or music that utilize that technology.

Definitely worth it if you want to improve the sound quality of your flat screen tv. Atmos sounds great even better if you add the rear speakers. Durability wise I wouldn't know... I've only had it for a few weeks. I have an older model Samsung sound bar with sub that I replaced this with and that one is still working great on another tv so it should last a good long while. Get the Asurion extended service warranty if you want peace of mind. All in all a great piece of equipment. As it being "renewed" don't know what that's supposed to mean because this came in mint condition still had the factory seal on the box so dunno. I have ordered several things "renewed" and "used" from here, and never had an issue with anything. Ya also save a bunch of dough.
