I recently purchased the YCLYC Split Loom Wire Loom to protect my electrical cord on an outside pool motor which was exposed to the blazing sun of South Florida. The 1/2 inch diameter was perfect for the electrical cord and ground wire which needed protection.The flexible tubing was easy to encapsulate the electrical and the split design made it super easy to accomplish the task. I didn’t have to disconnect anything which was a relief. The quality seems good, and only time will tell if it will hold up to the elements of Florida. The 10 foot size was more than I actually needed and I have left over so I can use it just in case the product fails. I'’m recommending it to anyone looking for cord protection. Buy one and be happy.

Well kitty teeth definitely cannot get through these. There should be some clear instructions on how to load cords into them though. Hopefully this review will help. For future buyers: Insert the loose end of your cord into one end of the tube backwards so that it looks like it's facing un-used tubing. Then pull like a zipper. Adjust as you go to take up slack and smooth kinks. You could premeasure and cut, but I found it ends up a few inches too short that way. So I just cut it after the loading is done. Don't try prying the tubing open and popping the cord in to load it, it's nearly impossible. Hope this helps. Great product! I will spend less money on spare chargers now!
