I use these constantly out in the garage. They work like a dream for cutting oil / fuel lines, and I love that the blades are commonly found an cheap / easy to replace. I've used this tool almost every day for the past 3 years and it works great. Standard blades is a big plus. I do a lot of irrigation work and mostly cut polytube. No problems and have never cut myself. The locking mechanism is easily in thumb's reach and easy to engage/disengage. Would definitely buy it again but it looks like this one will be around for a while.

I bought this cutter for a specific job. I didn’t think I would use it again after the job, yet I was wrong. I find that I use this quite often, far more than I anticipated. It cuts just about anything you need to cut or chop off. It’s nice because it makes such a straightforward clean cut. Quickly becoming one of my favorite tools. As far as the tool is concerned, it is excellent quality, far better than I expected. Quite sturdy and well made. One of the few tools that I have that isn’t a name brand. If Knipex makes one of these I might have to get one!

This is a great cutter, as long as you aren’t needing a flush cut (which I was). It wasn’t great for the purpose I bought it, but I can see other uses, and am overall very pleased. If the item description had mentioned it didn;t give a flush cut, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it.

Works great cutting fuses for fireworks. No issues with it at all. Helps provide peace of mind that you will not be accidentally creating a spark.

Exceptional tool for odd jobs. I mostly use mine for cutting tubing and trimming flowers. A utility knife (razor) is held securely in one jaw and an anvil is held in the other jaw of this plier-like tool. Smooth, perfect cuts. The razor is easily replaced by unscrewing two screws. This is the first set that I've bought that has a storage bin inside the handle for extra blades. This anvil blade is made of metal, not like some others that are mostly plastic. There are good gripping handles that are also ergonomic and comfortable. There is also a safety latch for the spring-loaded tool.
