The sense of belonging is the core of life meanings
It's been such a wonderful book that I've never read about the sense of belonging. Back in 2022, it took me around 10 months to read the book with my facilitator friends. We've so inspired by the main parts that the book covers about belongingness. After read the book, the groups of friends decided to organized an annual virtual conference by using the core concepts in the book. Our theme was bringing the sense of belonging to our community and make our lives and professionals meaningful. It was very successful. Thanks to the book that opened a new world to us.

Great book shows you how to make everyone feel like they are part of the group
I bought this book for a student doing a thesis on this topic. It is most useful to him.

Great ideas and practical actions
I love that this book is not only knowledge and information about what belonging is, but also how we might practice it and facilitate activities to learn more about it and what it means to our communities. Great read with practical advice, built upon the author's own experience and research as well as the knowledge of the thought leaders before her.

More theoretical than practical
I was expecting concrete guidance for designing communities and community spaces. A "how-to". Instead, it's a lot of very generalized reflection questions about space, belonging, and community in general.

Simple Actions you can use day to day
This book convinced me how foundational belonging is in interactions. Also, how much of creating belonging I can have an effect on. The book gives practical tools, techniques, hacks to bring the concepts to life. Great read and a great reference I will hold onto.

Worthwhile read for those who build communities
I appreciated this beautifully illustrated book that breaks down complex social dynamics into digestible outlines and concepts. The concept of allowing dissent in groups and the most healthy groups welcoming a questioning of authority or consensus spoke to me in particular- a worthwhile read for those of us who build communities.

Used book sent instead of new as advertised.
The book is very worn and is obviously not a new item as advertised. I am fine keeping the item but would like a partial refund.
