Does the job well
Tested on a certified 3000MaH and the result was accurate. A really good tool for checking authenticity of new batteries and the health of used ones. Really happy with this. This did not come with any instructions, but the QR code on the back does take you to one. Scroll down a little if you don't see the button for english.Only the right compartment is used for testing, the left hand one is for powering the device. Can be charged in place if connected to the left usb. The device can also work just powered via usb.

Seems to work well.
Cheap, simple device and appears to do the job with expected results based on the age and use of the batteries I have. The ones I expected to be very low were and the decent ones were also confirmed.I knocked a star off because it would have benefited from being able to manually set the minimum voltage. Maybe this can be done but I haven't found a way. It discharges to below 3V, I think 2.75V, which isn't a deal breaker for a test that will happen probably once a year. One of the other reviews did make me laugh though, the one that said it doesn't work because he tested a 2000mAh battery and the result was between 6000 and 7000mAh. He was reading mWh, it shows 1683mAh on the screen and the test is still running (the discharge light is still on). Please ignore that 1-star review.

Language in chinese, no instructions.
The language on the screen comes in chinese, and there are no instructions with it, just a QR code printed on the back of the PCB, however the QR code doesn't work. Makes it pretty useless.

It works !!
Cute and Clever item. Can discharge and charge a 18650 battery and gives readings of how many milliamps and milliwatts the battery can hold. Also gives Internal Resistance reading which is an indicator of battery health. My Unit came with English text - I understand there are instructions in one of the Reviews to change from Chinese to English if it arrives set to Chinese. Two small 'tweaks' I made which may be helpful -firstly, the battery holder contacts are heavy duty and not 'springy' - this means it can be hard to insert and remove batteries. I used a small mole grip to slightly compress the negative contact in the battery holder - much better now.secondly, the large ceramic resistors get hot when discharging a battery. I place the whole unit on an old laptop cooling pad so that there is a constant air flow to cool the resistors.

Works, but no manual, all menus are in Chinese
You have to figure out all the menu options yourself as it is all in Chinese and there is no manual.I have used it to test more than 10 batteries, and it has worked well.

Functionality
This is not that great it does not measure the cell impedence it just charges and discharges the cell and one cell at a time to measure capacity and it is not that accurate. The cell on the back is for powering the device if not using the USB however it is an unprotected cell powering the device and little to no information of weather or not the circuit has protection for it or not, what kind of protection what it uses as a cut off or change over from CC to CV you cam only presume it is 4.2v and lowest cutoff voltage being 3v maybe. Heats cells up quite warm and has no thermal protection.
