Great book to get an overview of all business analytics topics with current applications in India.

I liked the book because it focuses on business contexts to derive business value. It helps improve imagining business contexts like no other book. Once business context is appreciated looking for methods and technologies gets much simpler. II would recommend this book to students of business and anyone interested in Business Analytics.

Nice book to read about statistics. Easy language.

If someone wants to get into statistical portion of data science then this is the book I will recommend. This book is neither at very basic level and nor at very advanced level. Its perfectly balanced. For machine learning part of data science you will still need to go through some other book although this book covers some topics. There are certain topics which could have been explained more clearly because of which I have decreased one star. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

This is the best text book for learning statistics and applying the same for doing business analytics. The language used is so simple and accurate that anyone can understand the topics clearly and concisely.I have gone through multiple youtube and udemy videos but never learned the concepts clearly. But this book made a big difference. It’s full of examples from industry and Dr. Dinesh has done excellent job in putting all the concepts and examples together such that it will be stamped on to the readers mind forever.Thanks for the author again

Great examples and easy to understand language

The second edition of the book has a separate chapter on ensemble methods. More content is added from edition 1, it has 11 Indian cases studies (Apollo Hospitals, Flipkart, Larsen & Toubro and so on). The content is very good for PG students in Analytics and Machine Learning.

Hands down the best book I have laid my hands on when it comes to business Analytics
