Lovely bright, crisp white light
Our hallway is long and narrow with the only natural light via a via a small piece of glass in a North facing front door. Even with five spotlights, it could often look a bit gloomy. When two of the spotlight bulbs failed, we decided to replace them as a set with these.Wow these are bright, and with a very crisp white light. Could possibly be harsh in the wrong room, but for this space they work well. No issue with fitting them into recessed spotlight fittings. Can’t comment on lifespan obviously.My only gripe is that the LED array and some of the circuitry is visible through the glass. It’s not a problem in this application because they are recessed into the ceiling and also sitting behind another piece of glass, but if the end of the bulb was exposed in a normal ceiling fitting, it wouldn’t look great.We’ll be ordering some more of these for our kitchen which has the same light fittings to replace the rather yellowy originals.Very happy with the purchase.

Good bright light, they sometimes don’t seem to last as long as claimed
Nice and bright and low electricity usage but they don’t always seem to last as long as the makers claim.6 hours per day even every day of the year does not equate to 15,000 hours as manufacturers quote for their longevity. However to be fair I have never checked the exact date I installed until the date one of them expired it seems shorter than seven or so years.

Very nice light, but will not last for years.
Bought these in place of really poor quality bulbs which lasted a matter of weeks. These were a nice strong white light, looked and worked great for the last 10 months. Within the last 5 days though 7 of the 10 have failed. Initially flicker and dim, before cutting out. Obviously these are not made to the same standard as brand items, but have worked well and cost a third the price of better known makes.
