So many creative things you can do with this kit. Excited to try them all! Camera also arrived in flawless condition. Everything is very well packed and organized. It's easy to fit the pieces back into the carry case even if you don't remember where they were originally.Going to have so much fun with this in the summer!

Was pleasantly surprised that the GoPro Hero9 did actually produce excellent videos and images. Super on a large computer monitor and also excellent on the TV.Haven't had a chance to check out all of the bell and whistles, but using it as a head mounted camera, it was wonderful with the exception of the awful smell from the material used in the straps. Seems like everything from China has the odor. Hope it airs out soon. Remember that as you are pedaling along on your bicycle, you tend to rock back and forth. Your video will, too. The microphone did a decent job of picking up sounds including roosters crowing and my huffing and puffing going up hills.Nice smooth videos as I turned my head even while pedaling. Good wide angle videos.Quality seems to be as good as my Sony camcorder. Next test will be wearing it on my wrist while biking then on my torso. Very convenient to carry and relatively light weight.The unit does get hot, but I did not feel the heat on my head considering the strap must have been a buffer. Tested in early morning sun in Arizona about 75º.Biggest complaint is the battery life. For the hour I was out riding around the neighborhood, the battery went from fully charged to 24%. This will not do for upcoming vacation, so I will have to buy at least one more. Will have to swap out if I plan to fill the whole 128GB card. I only used about 122GB for that hour.Oh, another thing...The camera automatically breaks the video up into 4GB files. It is seamless. I checked the last frames on each file and they matched the beginning of the next.

I am very disappointed in the GoPro Hero9 Black. I expected exceptional video quality if nothing else and I found video quality that was substantially worse than a smart phone. I could have lived with every other Con on this list but video quality is mission critical. The battery isn't terrible but I wouldn't call it good either (about 70 minutes of video at 4k/60fps) and to plug in a power source you have to have the battery and memory card door open. You are required to download the app in order to enable your GoPro to work at all. You will also have to download special codecs for the proprietary file format the GoPro records in. This is all a significant hassle. The accessories that came with this kit are pretty darn good though, so if you find the video satisfactory for your purposes you will probably find several of the accessories useful. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for excellent video quality and I would not buy one again. The voice commands functionality is very cool and seems to work pretty good. The display screens are very clear and the rear touch screen is easy to use. The menu system is not particularly intuitive but once you figure it out it's easy to use.
