I've been an intuitive reader for 5 years now, and the description and instructions to help you truly tell a story with the cards, which you learn here, is amazing!! A must read for even experienced readers!

I do not like to give authors lower stars when it was my reading preference versus the content of the book. My honest review of this book is that it would be a good tool for someone trying to learn how to tap into what they may see. I'm a little more advanced and connected to the cards so this was not for me but it is a very short read so you can not go wrong with that.

It's a simple quick read that's 45 pages. I like the author gets to the point on describing the court cards & breaks down the basics of getting to know the four elements in the Minor Arcana. Wands, Swords, Cups, & Pentacles. She gives the astrological signs & the different elements to each & simple quick meanings to interpreting the cards.While this is a short read, going over the Major Arcana isn't explained in the book but she interprets her own meaning of the Major Arcana.

Finally found this book that made tarot easy for me to understand! It's very easy to read and follow and gives u a new approach on how to learn the cards and ways to see how a certain card can mean one thing one day but mean something else the next day based all on how u see it at that given time! Wonderful! Strongly recommend!

This was very insightful and definitely going to help me get better acquainted with my deck! If you are just getting into tarot or just want insight on how to better connect with your cards, this is a good place to start.

For such a short book, this one relays quite a bit of good information. Faye gives the basic outline of what you need to know and then makes reasonable suggestions on how to move forward on your own, learning to listen to your intuition. Recommend this quick read

There are a lot of recommendations for how to read the cards without memorizing meanings, but I wouldn't necessarily say the suggestions were "simple." Suggestions range from meditating with each card individually to writing a paragraph about each card in a story whose plot is driven by card pulls. For someone who wants to read professionally, this seems like a great system -- for someone with a casual relationship to tarot, though, the methods described in this book would be time and labor intensive.
