Delicious! Easy way to add a ton of depth and flavor.
This is just a wonderful product - it adds so much richness and flavor to just about anything. From ramen noodles, soups, vegetables and other meals it adds a concentrated blast of flavor. It really doesn't take very much and it can be easy to add *too* much so start small. Very long shelf life even when opened and kept refrigerated. Highly recommended.

Authentic flavors
I had been searching locally for chicken fat to make real matzo ball soups.The product was pure and added the flavor that we grew up on.We will be using this product again!!

Schmaltz - a better choice than vegetable oils for flavor and natural gravies
Nothing can replace the flavor and resultant consistency of schmaltz and tallows for making gravies. Tallow is readily available on grocery store shelves. But, schmaltz is rarely found in the grocery store. To be able to purchase 'online' a high-quality schmaltz such as this one is invaluable. This product meets the highest quality standards that I know of. I highly recommend it. Yes, it's a bit pricey. But, for authentic flavor AND for best ultimate flavor only schmaltz can deliver on that objective, IMO.

Who Knew?!
Wanted to make chicken soup with matzo balls but was planning to use packaged chicken broth, not a freshly boiled chicken. The recipe calls for a couple of tablespoons of chicken fat that I usually skim off the top of the pot of boiled chicken. What a surprise that I could actually order a jar of chicken fat on Amazon! Who knew?!!

Chopped liver… yumm
Since it’s so hard to find chicken fat without butchers in markets anymore I can’t render the fat. This is wonderful. I’m glad I found this.
