Good for people with reduced mobility
Very helpful for when a walk-in shower is not available. Would be even better if the seat would come closer to the edge of the tub, but it does the trick either way. The person using the chair must be able to bear weight on their legs, or have good use of their hands and arms. Otherwise, the assistant would need to lift them into the chair.

Needed adaptation
Like others I had to cut down one side to allow for the wall so ended up spending more money on 19mm plastic tube caps. I also had to free off one of the wing nuts which was seized solid which involved WD40 a tap and die set and a bench vice. If you don't have the skills and the tools maybe look elsewhere. Having said that it's sitting nicely in the bath and seems stable.
