The media could not be loaded. I have had this OBD reader for a while now and used it many times on a lot of different vehicles. So far I haven't had an issue that this cant fix yet. It did need an update when i first got it out of the box and there are regular updates which is good to see as the electrical systems on vehicles are charging rapidly.I really like the quick access buttons that take you straight to the Error Code Reading, Error Code Deletion and the Internal Memory pages. It makes it a bit quicker and easier to get to where you want to be rather than having to go through multiple pages to get to the same place like on some of my older machines.Its light and comfortable to hold and the screen is bright and clear to read.It has pretty much all the manufactures in its list so I haven't been able to find a car that it cant read yet.Another feature that i really like and haven't seen before is the small LED built in to the OBD2 Connector. It seems like a bit of a gimmick but it is actually quite handy when you are trying to find the cars connector under the dashboard in the dark.Overall I am very happy with this device and it has saved me, my family and my friends quite a bit of money on diagnostic fees.

This scanner is brilliant..easy to use and cleared airbag issue straight away..No more going to garage for diagnostics..Brilliant bit of kit !!!!!!

This saved me a fortune in car repair bills, I had an ABS light on my ford and the cheap readers only look at the engine CPU. This reader read the fault from the abs module and was able to display live data from all 4 sensors. Only issue was for some reason ford was at the bottom of the manufacturer's alphabetical list and I almost missed it.

I tinker with a lot of cars for my family and friends, minor servicing and whatnot. I had a cheap scanner for years but it was tricky to use and searching for the code definitions was tedious.This bad boy is miles away from my old one. The screen is bright and easy to read, the interface is intuitive and it allows you to search for fault code definitions right within the unit. It's also pretty robust with rubberised case and hefty cable.My absolute favourite feature is the light in the end of the cable which allows you to find the cars OBD port and plug it in easily without faffing about in the dark. It's a lovely touch that.If you're a have-a-go mechanic then this chap will certainly save you a lot of head scratching.

Attractive, bright, easy to read and 'clean' screen display, marred by Topdon's apparent inability to load the Ford EUROPE database (Ford-'North America' YES,) Ford-EUROPE NO! WHY on earth NOT?It does appear capable of downloading some OBD data, but without the Customised Ford decoding, it is of dubious value!I have reported this problem to the Topdon Customer portal, but was initially ignored for several days, before finally advising that I should be using the "Ford Europe" interface on their Menu Option!TOTAL BUFFOONS! That was precisely what I had explained to them was missing!Their web-based software upgrade is non-intuitive, and doesn't seem capable of downloading any "Ford-Europe" data base, as that isn't listed on their available database choices ~ WHY NOT?Unable therefore to evaluate any of my 2 year old Ford Fiesta's OBD readout with any degree of confidence.Don't waste your time with this bunch of loosers if you have a European Ford ~ as they simply don't understand that Europe exists!Returned for REFUND.

All OBD codes and ABS issues were readable on my vehicle, and I was able to reset my SAS too, however, the device would not connect to SRS (airbags) and support could not assist.

My wife’s W211 E320 (2003) had a SRS light which comes on occasionally when you move the seat all the way forward when flat bedding it and is known common problem that the plug under the seat gets pulled causing high resistance on one of the wires. My old OBD2 could only clear engine fault codes so I looked for one that could handle Airbag’s etc. On reading up on this TOPDON one I was impressed and once in hand I easily navigated around it and cleared the SRS fault light. I have also looked and used some of the other features and it is an excellent piece of kit very well priced in my mind. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good entry level OBD2 reader. The plug even has an in built torch which makes life a little easier to see in the foot well when plugging in.
