Not fit for purpose
The media could not be loaded. This is the second purchase, first one needed replacement part after a month then didn't last very long, this one again broke down within the 12 month warranty so won't be buying again.

Good value for money
I decided to buy a small cement mixer as I don't have the space tp store a full size one. I saved a few quid buying this one and it's big enough for my DIY jobs. These T-Mech units are available from lots of suppliers and get pretty good reviews. It was delivered next day and I set about assembling it. Unlike some other reviewers I had no problem putting it together. The mixer is not what I would call a quality product but I suppose it is fit for purpose for a diyer. If you decide to buy one of these I have some suggestions that might help make the unit trouble free.I put some thread lock on every bolt, these things vibrate a lot.I took the securing screw from the drive gear and thread looked that as well.I took the drum off the cradle and packed the socket with grease.I added a thick bead of silicone to each side of the rubber drum seal, it will leak if you don't.I added some locknuts to the lower motor ecuring bolts, it's impossible to get them tight without crushing the motor housing otherwise.I took the rather flimsy plastic cover off the motor and silconed the joint to try and keep water out.Lastly and most importantly DO NOT USE the mixer without an RCD. The plug has an earth pin but no part of the mixer, motor or frame is earthed.

Total brilliant
I was a bit worried when the box turned up, I thought I must have bought a toy 🤔. Opened box and it was incredibly how it had all fitted in. I had no problem fitting it all together a good DIYer would have no issues. I had to contact the seller as one rubber Handel fitting was missing. They sent it and it arrived 1st class the next day. I did grease all the mechanics with a good grease and have been using this cement mixer now for 2weeks clean after every use and I think it will last me for years. Very happy customer. Thank you.

For the money, it's alright for DIY
To start with, this isnt a professional type cement mixer, after using it, I'd say it was more for general use pottering on with small-medium size projects.Assembly wise, yep, the instructions are'nt the best, a bit vague in some regards, but, read them first, make a note that there is numbers on the bags of fittings, but the instructions may not mention the bag number for a step of the build (e.g. The first one when building the drum)People seemed to have problems with the blades when it comes to building the drum, it is indeed a proper little puzzle, but, I found actually building the whole drum first, then placing the mixing blades helped me visualize how they are orientated in regards to the bolt holes, be aware they wont line up (As in drop straight in) when you put the blades in, you have to apply a bit of pressure to bend the blade over slightly, but they do go, doing it this way makes tightening the bolts for the blades slightly more awkward, but defo not a deal breaker!Secondly, it says a 70ltr drum, and the working volume is 43 or something like that... At best, maybe 35 ltrs for the most efficient mixing, any more and I think whatever is in there will just turn in a lump and not mix.Add stuff slowly, and jump between cement and aggregate, as an example, if your mixing mortar and the ratio is 5:1 (five sand, one cement), don't just dump all the cement in, then the sand... Put some water in, then add a bit of cement, then some sand, then some more cement, bit of water, repeat until your ratio amount is in, you will find it mixes a lot better, and less chance of clumps at the back. Another thing is to keep the drum angle low at the start, then raise it up incrementally, this will help it mix as well. The drum is low, so, when tipping, a lot goes underneath the mixer, nothing you can do about that really, it's the way it is.Keep the mixer clean when finished, don't be tempted to do what builders do and lob bricks in with water, unplug it and get in with a trowel and brush to clean the inside. A clean mixer mixes better then a dirty one that has gone off mortar/concrete stuck inside.Noise wise, well, it makes a noise, but then, so do petrol mixers with an engine, but it's not bad, not unsociable to the point where the neighbours might complain, but, when you have a bit of weight in, it seems to settle down.Overall, for the price, it is indeed a decent little thing really, like I said, anyone that expects a professional setup up that's associated with more expensive mixers will be disappointed, but, if your expectations are inline with the cost of the thing, it's okay you know and well, gets the job done!

Didn’t mix very well .
Not very good bit smaller than expected no instructions found something on YouTube to help, rubber seal poor fit wast of time used it for first time yesterday 27/2/25 new fence mixing concrete but just stuck to drum had to keep stopping mixer to free all concrete from side of drum and when cleaned drum water just leaked everywhere due to poor seal might be missing something but like I say no instructions..
