Did the job
Previous diaphragm ceased working so cistern constantly overflowing. Easy to fix using You tube and this new diaphragm. Think they are pricey v’s cost of new valve assembly!

Works but my need some stretching
I put these in after checking they were the right ones and was sad when they didn’t work. The valve didn’t close. But I tried stretching and pulling the rubber to lossen up, tried a few different times to fit in, and eventually it did work (and has been working for weeks now).So if you fit them and it doesn’t work, try it before you give up.

Good product
I know nothing about plumbing however this product was easy to fit and sorted the leak in my cistern. Bit annoying you can only buy a double pack however given I have 3 identically toilets in the house I suspect it won’t go to waste.

Does not work wrong shape for my toilet
Has square shoulders on the washer. Mine is round I believe this is reason for not fitting correctly. Check b4 u buy waste of money. Need go plumbers merchant.

May not work with older quarter turn valves.
I have a 17 year old Ideal Standard toilet and this diaphragm was recommended by their repairs department. This is the correct type diaphragm for the quarter turn type of fill valve (there is another diaphragm for the screw type valve). However, the internals of my 17 year old Watermark valve are quite different to current Armitage Shanks/Ideal Standard valves, and I could not get the new diaphragm to work properly: the cistern kept overflowing). The Magna c/c back- to- wall toilet is completely sealed to the wall in a walk-in wetroom so I wanted to avoid all the work necessary to fit a complete, new, flush valve. Now I have decided to bite the bullet and fit a new valve.Found an excellent Geberit valve which has all the spares available should the same thing happen again.Nothing wrong with the diaphragm otherwise but may not be compatible with older valves. If you have access to the cistern in your toilet then it really isn't that difficult, or expensive, to fit a new valve. Just make sure spares are available for the new valve.

Perfect replacement.
Fitted within a minute works great. Small drips for a 20min or so while it formed to the correct shape. But has been great since.Time will tell how long it lasts but replacing a 10+year old part I expect it will last. I'll probably lose the spare before I have to use it.
