Read HID cards

Great reader, low price can read HID cards. Currently installing 5th one. Too bad they don't have a compact size one like HID reader.

Junk

Piece of junk! Can't get it to read any cards, can't even find where to get tech support! Found a website in China, but can't create a username and password to open a tech support case.

This reader works well with our HID ProxCard II cards and much cheaper than a HID branded reader.

Beware! Nicely Constructed but Flawed

This reader does not support the extended ranges for rfid tags. In my case, I bought a kit that contained the 4 door generic wiegand network controller board and the readers it came with was able to read the 10 digit rfid tags correctly. But when this reader is connected it no longer reads the SAME tags.With some back and forth with the folks that sold the kit, it turns out THIS reader only output 8 Digits out of the 10 Digits of the encoded tags.For what it is, solidly constructed rfid reader it is 5 stars. However there should have been more warnings when paired up to the Generic Wiegand Network Control Board. Beware.
