This product looked just as it did in the photo. It added an elegance to my front door to a house built in 1750. I was looking for vintage charm and this delivered and at a reasonable price.

Pictured as is. The gold coating where everyone is talking about under the mouth is really not that bad. Mine was slightly coated which I’m still happy with. Didn’t stop me from hanging it. The lion is about the size of one’s adult hand. Shipping arrived on time.

A striking door feature. No pun intended 😀. Nice size and weight. Very fine detail. A nice addition to dressing up our door. Yes, we received silver mounting screws also. Stupid and takes away from the experience as now one must go and get brass screws. It's like they say, good help is hard to find. This makes what would have been a 5 star review a four.

The knocker itself is beautiful. The gold is more of an eye catch than black or silver. My mom noticed it from across the room before I hung it. The sound is perfect when used. Worth the money.

This is beautiful and sturdy. I am glad I invested in this one that was more expensive.
