Ade Advanced Optics 2025 Edition RD3-006B-1 Green Dot Sight for Handgun -Compatible with Doctor Footprint Red Dot Plate/Optic Cut

I'd been wanting to try a green dot reflex sight and a friend recommended this Ade model. So I bought one to put on a Diana Air Bug. Super simple installation and the units fit and finish appears very well built and the dot is bright enough to use outdoors no problems.I think this is a top notch sight for its price class.

So just to quickly summarize, I would like to state that I am all for optics, especially red dot reflex sights getting cheaper, however only if a company would produce them at the same quality as the professionals while resisting the urge to charge the rediculous amount of upsale charge as most of these companies do. I have to say that the craftsmapship on this red dot is not short-handed, and I believe with some tweakiing, I probably could have resolved my issue of not retaining zero (specifically with the rubber buffer that I did not notice it came with that I did not install). So that being said, I had decided that a red dot for my pistol was not for me, especially since this red dot does not have one of the fancier features, like shake awake (which is no fault of the sight), so I decided to return it. Please be warned that if you do want to return this sight it will cost you postage, however, I did contact customer service and they were very helpful and expedient, more than willing to help keep me as a customer. That shows value in this company and I think the next reflex red dot i consider, I will give these guys another shot! - Joe

Just recieved my RD3-006 2021 edition from ADE. and let me just say wow! pretty darn impressed so far. Feels rugged and sturdy, packaged very well. fired right up first try, dot is super crisp. I really.like the second from lowest brightness setting the best so far. it is cloudy so we will see if that changes on a hot summer day when the sun is high in the sky. still waiting on my mount to come in the mail and then will be mounting it on my glock 19amd will update review, but if this is any indication as to how it's going to do on the range there will be no disappointments.

After trying this sight for a few days I decided to return it.Pros: Nice build, Nice Green Dot.Cons: On-Off Button is a pain. For some reason it is hard to find with my finger - I need to look at it.The adjustment direction marks seem backward to me but I guess they are correct if you think about the direction the bullet needs to move and not the direction the DOT needs to move.Using a screwdriver head instead of an Allen Wrench is also inconvenient and awkward.Also having to LOCK the final setting is an extra thing to do.The battery is below the sight and will require sight removal to change.I never got to the point of taking it to the range.I just returned it.I tried both the A and B Models of this sight which seem identical even though the B Model was suppose to have an improved Front power/brightness switch???

It would not let me adjust the dot what so ever and in the process I stripped the screw. It also is NOT A WAKE SHAKE. I really wanted to this to be a great product. Very low profile and sleek but is not functional or at least the unit I got was not.

Very well made with easy to understand instructions. I had to purchase different screws to mount it to my base due to my mount, not the scope. I was able to align it with my laser bore sighter in minutes. It’s easy to turn on and has multiple brightness levels. Have not been able to use at range yet due to COVID-19. So far it’s a great product for the money!

Happy to see a green dot at this price point. It was pretty simple to install on an M&P core, and easy to adjust. The rear sight got in the way of the adjustment locking screws, so be sure to get a right angle mini flat head if you want to lock the adjustment without stripping the screws. Please also read the manual, it's in perfect English for the most part.

Purchase ADE rd3-006b1 dot optic for Taurus G3C. Shot several hundred rounds of 115 &124 grain. Could not get dot to go down far enough to center. Contacted ADE by e-mail with response back in a couple hours. They advised that they would send me a thin riser plate in a couple weeks. In a couple days I received a small riser plate (at no charge). That fixed problem. The lens also came loose. I sent another e-mail asking if I could try super glue instead of sending back. They said I could try it. I received this response in about 1-2 hours. I did not try to call but e-mails worked fine for me. Great customer service. Will definitely buy optics from them again.
