Drive belts for VAX carpet washer
These do what they are supposed to do. Others have said that friction melts the belts when the machine is upright. This is a design fault of the cleaner, not the belt, the cleaning brushes are supposed to stop when the cleaner handle is upright, but they don’t because the handle tends to fall backwards as there is no device to hold it upright. I now use a bungee cord between the base and the handle to hold it upright, the brushes stop and belts are no longer friction melted.
