Great fan, good airflow, quiet
Good value. Looks nice. Does all the things. Nice quiet hum for those of us who need a fan to sleep. Also has enough airflow to keep you cool at night. Been using every night for months now. Assembly easy.

READ MY REVIEW.
I ordered this when it was 49% off, so who wouldn't buy.. Anyways, This was very easy to assemble! All you need is a screwdriver. Some other reviews mention needing an electric screwdriver because they come factory tightened... But it worked just A-okay with a regular screwdriver for me. Took about 8 minutes to build. So far, It's quite nice. I do have high expectations for things so I'd prefer to be blasted with cold air in this particular weather. However, It does add a nice breeze and has an adjustable height, plus, the head can tilt up and down. It's stable and has a good weight to it! The only things I dont like as of yet is 1. The body is white and the head is black and 2. The actual fan wings themselves have a TINY struggle when they start spinning as they need a little shake to get spinning, I think maybe i assembled it slightly incorrectly so they get caught on the cage, but aside from that very good fan and I think i'll get a lot of usage out of it.

A little fan that really works
In several years of shopping on Amazon, I’d never really thought of looking at AMAZON BASICS products until lately because I purchase a lot of my needs to be used abroad and always tried to go brand names, especially on appliances; repairs were always on my mind. That will change henceforth. This little fan works well and does it quietly enough that I can keep it on all night. It’s very light-weight which enables it to be moved outside the bedroom for where it was pirchased. This AMAZON BASICS product could cost much more as others like it are priced on Amazon but it comes at a very affordable price.Thanks,TOLA.

Amazon basics 3 in 1 pedestal fan.
Arrived quickly with all the pieces in the box.Assembly, well there's been talk on here about trouble with the 4 fixing screws for the feet. 3 of these screws loosened straight away (but they are really stiff so a bit of muscle involved guy's) and then the 4th screw just kept turning without coming out (damn the thread is stripped) but no! What I did was actually screw it in even tighter and something clicked (threads located themselves), then I unscrewed it successfully. After this hiccup the rest of the assembly is straight forward with good printed instructions. The grill diameter is 16 inches! I didn't think it would be that large, all good.Setting 1 is more than adequate creating a lovely breeze, not loud either.I tested the power usage and it's 30 watt on setting 1 (40 watt on setting 3) so about 35 hours continuous use would use 1 kwh which for me is 25p!I bought this for the ridiculously cheap price of £15.03!!Sturdy, cheap and works.Job done.Ps,,, remember when screwing on the cap that holds the fan in place it's a reverse thread. So turn it anticlockwise to tighten and don't over tighten as it's just plastic and you will strip the thread, just hand tight is sufficient.

Misleading Size - 11 inch blades not 20 inch
The reason it's not 5 star is because of the misleading Size. All fans are measured by the fan size... Not this one! They measure by height (and still get it wrong)But it's too warm without a fan in my flat so it will have to do for now!The fan itself is easy to put together and works great, pretty quiet too even on the higher settings. But strange being 2 colour, white base with black top but looks pretty good. Just don't expect it to be as big as you thought it would be!

Powerful and very quiet
I'm very happy with this. It made the bedroom pleasantly cool during recent hot nights. It has three speed settings, on/off oscillating direction, and the up/down angle can be moved. The lowest setting is enough to cool down a typical room. The blade is 27cm across, and made of almost clear, smoked plastic. Once it's turning you can't see it. It's kinda nice not to be able to see the moving blade. Most important, it's very quiet - especially on the lowest setting so ideal for overnight in a bedroom. It's solid white plastic but at this price you don't expect exotic materials. Also the front of the fan says "amazonbasics" which might put off the badge-conscious.It has to be put together which is relatively easy until you get the the little nut and bolt which holds together the blade surround. You'll need a small pair of pliers to tighten this up. At least there are two nuts and bolts in the packet as they obviously appreciate some people will lose one - nice touch.

Dead On Arrival - Burnt Out Motor
The media could not be loaded. When plugged in on speed 3, no spin. If I manually spin the motor pole, it spins with very very little torque, not even enough to spin the blades.Motor is hot, as the pole heats up if left not rotating with the insanely tiny torque it has. This is simply too big and badly packaged for me to feasibly return it without the high chance of damage in shipping for Amazon to blame me.Packing had 0 bubble wrap or anything. Just all the bits shoved in a box.Screwa also we're loose in the box (the tiny one with the little nut on it for the guard)
