I had a dyson DC07 and some extra accessories that didn't fit my new dyson ball animal 03+. This interface allows me to reuse those old attachments. The second attachment(with red clip) is compatible with dyson v10 stick vac allowing me to use ball animal attachments. I am very pleased. I don't have to buy the same attachments again. Really good value for the money.

I have a Dyson V11 which I love, but it doesn't work with my vacuum storage bags. This versatile tool provides excellent suction and shrinks the bags in no time. Those of you who own Dyson know that little half a circle cutout for the attachment prevents a good seal.

So the good news is that if you have a newer Dyson cordless stick vacuum, these adapters do in fact allow you to use older accessories, like those found in the Allergy kit -- including the much larger dusting tool and the mattress tool. The connection seems a bit iffy, and the release is a bit tentative too... leading me to believe that the overall construction isn't the best and the useful lifetime of these adapters might be limited. But in the end, they were a good value for the money and they work as intended.

I'm giving my DC26 to my nephew but wanted to use my tangle free turbine attachment and the under fridge/under range crevice too--which had cost me approximately $50 each and were NOT optional tools for my new vacuum. (Note: The cordless Animal and Animal+ are basically same, except the + combo/pricing is available only at Costco. I was quoted $37 from Dyson for an adapter. $37!!!! Even though this product's description didn't mention DC26, I took a chance on it, since there was a Free Returns option. Price was a BARGAIN compared to Dyson's price. No sacrifice in quality and no strain on vacuum. The second, universal fit attachment allows me to hook up a mini-attachment tool I have for cleaning my computer keyboard. The DC 26 adapter with its universal fit adapter increases the versatility of my new vacuum. I highly recommend this product.
