Works fine for me. The RCA plugs are a bit finicky, you need to fiddle with them to get god color.

It didn't output any video to my TV, then amazom gave me a replacement. It worked fine then.

Hook up was quick as you would expect. Initially, great picture and sound quality. However, the adapter stopped working after LITERALLY one week. I had placed the adapter in between my cable box and TV. It was never touched, much less moved or damaged. It simply stopped working - the power on light would not come on. Amazon, as usual, did a great job of making it easy to return.

The picture quality is good. I'm converting this to a very old tv, without high def, so any moderately decent picture will be good. The sound, however buzzes quite noticeably when at lower volumes. It's fine when something loud is playing, as it will generally be loud enough to drown out the noise, but can be annoying at times.

I could not get this item to work for me so I returned it. It was an expensive venture, in that the cost of shipping the two small items back cost half what I paid for them. I lost all the way around.

I purchased a total of three of these to bypass an issue with my LG TVs not recognizing HDMI input. The first worked and has been for about 5 months. The image quality is pretty good, but it definitely doesn't pass a native 4K signal. There is also a noticeable judder on fast action sequences. The audio quality is just fine.However the second unit I purchased had an issue with the component cable connections where I had to push them in forcefully and hold for any kind of image to appear on the TV. As soon as I let the pressure off the image disappeared. So I contacted Amazon for a return and they sent me a replacement while I returned the first defective unit. And number 3 does the same thing. I'll be finding a different style and brand as most of these converter boxes are just rebranded by different companies.

Works fine with FireStick on TV with broken HDMI ports.
