These are working out great but now I need to get a 2 hole punch to make my organization faster!

I needed partition file folders for my medical office. We use them for our patients records as we have not converted to electronic record keeping. Small office but patients are seen very frequently and pulled out of file and used a lot. I researched the point and cost factor thinking they would be durable.. I have to put packing tape on the edges of these charts as they shred and rip easily. I know they recycle alot of these partition folders. Just wish I could get what I pay for and get a quality product. A lot of things keep getting more expensive and are below the standard we used to get before Covid.

This was recommended by Andrew Mellen, the most organized man in America. And he's right. This is a perfect way to keep your most important papers! Way to go!

These are a terrific product, albeit on the spendy side. We use them for holding and organizing complicated matters where there's a lot of paperwork that, at a glance, looks much the same but really needs to be seen as distinct. For example, a company's annual payroll records: you have enough 2-prong "faces" here to have one for each quarter of the year, PLUS one for the annual end-of-year paperwork, PLUS one for passwords, government notices, etc. Within each quarter, we will use a sheet of colored paper to divide federal from state filings, and both from payment records. Before I discovered these classification folders, each year's payroll had to be placed in 3-4 regular two-prong folders, sucking up file space and inviting misplacement of the occasional file.

Smead Pressboard Classification File Folder, Fasteners, Dividers, Red, 10-Count (14073) I was quite hesitant at first in investing quite the amount JUST for folders, but this was well worth the purchase. Upon taking one of these folders out from the box, I was not disappointed at all. They're a whole lot more durable than I had originally intended. I was also very skeptical of the safe shield fasteners, as they feel extremely comfortable with its soft coating and protection. Unfortunately I didn't invest in the appropriate hole puncher, but once I do, these folders will be put to great use. I do, however, plan to see if my local office supply store has these kinds of folders and materials available as well because I'm absolutely in love with them!

These are not as slick on the outside ad the old Smead folders. They get dirtier easier.

I love these folders and use them on a daily basis in my real estate business. I especially like the safe shield fastener which gives my fingers that extra protection when working on a lot of files. The only aspect of this folder that I would say needs improvement is that when you start to get a really thick file the back binding loses its shape and becomes flimsy. I may try my luck with the Poly classification folder to see if the difference in quality is worth the extra cost.
