Merida Big Seven 500 is a mid-level performance mountain bike. This bike is well suited to recreational riders looking to their riding to the next level. The frame is made from hydro-formed aluminium; providing a balance of lightness, stiffness, and sturdiness. Front air-sprung suspension is courtesy of Manitou, it has tapered steer-tube and a 15 mm axle to increase stiffness. A Shimano 2x10 Deore SLX drivetrain takes care of shifting duties, providing crisp shifts and ultimate reliability. The wide range cassette also means a simple conversion to a 1x conversion if you choose.
