Rotator Rod Curved Shower Rod, Chrome Cap w/ White Accent Ball

PRODUCT UPDATE: I have recently installed my THIRD Rotator Rod (in a new home) and the product has changed from the ones that I had purchased/installed only 3-4 yrs. ago. My previous rods were one continuous piece of metal; this third rod came in two pieces! (The rod material seems 'thinner' as well). Installation was the same as before (included are written directions, which leave a lot to be desired, so I would encourage all to view an installation video on-line for clarity). The product seems to operate okay, though it is 'less beefy' than the previous ones. It's truly a shame ... I would have paid more $$ for an older version! This product still remains an excellent solution for small baths ... adds a lot of 'elbow room' to the tub area while showering, and 'swings away' into the tub area while not in use!

Love my new shower rod!!!!! We recently had a new tub and tile surround installed in the only full bath on our house, which is teeny tiny with absolutely no room to spare. I was going to purchase another new straight rod, when my husband ran across this on another site. Genius!!!!! I am so happy with this rod. It does exactly what's advertised, and allows us to have more room in the shower when needed, without sacrificing the limited space we have when the shower isn't being used. We did encounter a small issue when installing, but that was due to conflicting measurement information on the Amazon listing when we ordered. I called the company directly, and they reached out to Amazon to correct it. The folks working at the company were so sweet and helpful. They said we could try cutting the rod ourselves, but would need a drill press to make new holes, or we could return the rod to Amazon and order a new custom length rod from them directly for an additional cost. Luckily, my husband is handy and has an assortment of tools. He was able to cut it to the length we needed and drill the new holes in a matter of minutes. I still get excited every time I flip it, and am super happy that hubby ran across this.

This is the second one I ordered. The first one lasted two years or so but this one broke within a month. I like the concept but not the quality or the instructions. I thought the first one might be my fault for putting too many items in the shower curtain pockets. Not the case this time. Bummer!

Because our toilet is directly next to the tub, we thought we could only have a straight shower rod since we like to keep the curtain closed to let it dry. I really wanted a nicer looking rod that was a wall mount and not just a cheapie tension rod...so off to search Amazon. In looking for something suitable I came across this and I'm so glad I did! It is awesome! Works great, installation is fairly easy if you follow the instructions (and there is a Youtube video if you get stuck). One big tip is to put the instructions somewhere for future reference. We're in the midst of a bathroom remodel and had a change of plans for the surround (decided to yank out old tile and re-tile to the ceiling), so we had to take the rod down and put it back up. We were glad we still had the instructions around and decided to tape them inside the door of the plumbing access panel for safe keeping.

I am debating sending this product back. I has a two piece rod with a plastic connector in between the sections. That plus the rob material is really thin. In the video they show flipping the rob into the tub so you can use it as a drying rack. I am net really sure how much weight this flimsy rob with a plastic connector and plastic rob ens could hold. Over all, I am not really impressed with the shower rod as a whole. Plus there are no directions in or on the box. It does seem simple to figure out, but for the price I can get a better product. The return shipping cost are the only thing from keeping me from send this back now.

This is a great product. It was 2" too long for our shower, and is was easily modified with a metal saw, clamps, and drill. Just be careful and precise with your measures. The company is super responsive and helpful via email. Can't say enough good things. I recommend the no-drill adhesive adapters. They are very strong, and they work great. I used ultra-fine sandpaper to prepare the tile before applying, and that seemed to help.It is great that all wet clothes can now hang and drip in the tub, and the water stays where it is supposed to ... this should be a standard in all homes. It just makes good sense.Also, if you need space in a small bathroom, then this is the product for you.

It does function, it does what it says it will do, it is a piece of garbage. Do not buy this with the intention of rotating it into the tub to hang towels or other things to dry as I did. It will not take the weight. If it was $20 it would be a good deal. The mechanism is as cheap as cheap gets. The anchors they give you will pull out of your drywall in no time, I didn't use them. And I am not a 100% positive but I don't think the description says two pieces.I am a professional and have 20+ years of experience in the field.

I have a small bathroom. Thought this might fit my needs. It is absolutely the best thing ever. Have had it up now for 9 months. Still love it. Had to remodel the bath for a blind stepson who is 6'4". It gives him lots of space while showering, he flips it back when he's done and then I don't have a cold shower curtain clinging to my arm when using the toilet. Bath is 5 by 7 INCLUDING the tub. LOVE this product. Everyone who sees it loves it to. Highly recommend if you have a small bath.
