I have followed Ross’ plan for over a year. I love eating fresh vibrant alive food and my body is super happy: chronic sinus problems gone, chronic hip problem gone, weight down, sleep like a log, skin radiant. It is a very different way of eating, but I’m hooked on the benefits and don’t want my old food back. The flavors from the spices and healthy fats taste wonderful—a big revelation to me. No guilt or food/drink hangovers because everything I eat is good for my body. The book has all you need to get started—I went through it as soon as it came. Ross really knows his stuff so if alkaline eating interests you he is your go-to guy. I was going to try it for 30 days and I’m I’m still going 480 days later and counting.

A true lifestyle change
I have been following Ross Bridgeford since Oct. 2018 in a podcast he presented over a weeks time detailing all the aspects of the Alkaline Reset Cleanse Diet and how it helps your body overcome illness. I have been following it since and received the book the last of Dec., it is amazing and the health results are definitely dramatic. My osteoarthritis pain has totally disappeared, which was severe and chronic, my insomnia is resolving, my skin is more radiant, my energy has increased, and mental cognition greatly improved, (I'm in my 70's)! I would urge anyone that wants to end their physical health problems to give this a try, it's easy and gives you a new lease on life and you will feel amazing. Ross has regular webinars that are joined by thousands of people across the globe praising the results they have felt with this diet. He gives you many free downloads of ebooks with recipes and coaches you on Facebook as well as his own web page. He has been doing this for 15 years and is proof it is a positive for your life. Please check it out, it's well worth your time to improve your health. Many thanks to Ross, he has changed my life for the better.

Hard to swallow
I really want to like this cleanse, and I'm giving 3 stars because I do think that people who really enjoy veggies or baby food will love it!I'm on day 3 (after doing 3 days of the pre-cleanse) and the juices/smoothies/soups are really hard to swallow! I mean the juices aren't sweet at all, which I get on a cleanse, but it also might taste better going outside and picking some grass to munch on. The smoothies are pretty awful as well, and with some of the ingredients, I had expected them to be tasty, but once you blend them, it's like you're sucking up guacamole instead of enjoying a healthy smoothie! I have followed the recipes completely and used my Nutri-Bullet for blending as recommended, so not sure how else to prepare them. If they were more of a broth style soup it would be much better, but I guess you have to blend it so your body can process better. I absolutely could not get down my smoothie for day 2 and lack of enough food at work caused me a migraine, which later led to me vomiting when I tried to get the next soup down. I'm not saying that will happen to everyone, but for those of us who aren't super veggie fans, this is really difficult to consume. I'm only on day 3 so we'll see how it goes for the next few days, but I am not looking forward to any of these meals and I was super pumped in the beginning since the pre-cleanse wasn't that bad. Also, there isn't a shopping list for the Pre-cleanse days so the list that comes after those recipes is actually for the real cleanse and if you follow that list like I did, you'll miss tons of ingredients needed or the pre cleanse which is why I just jumped into the cleanse since I didn't want $200 of groceries to go bad! Easy to follow instructions
Update-I was able to contact the author on an another email found on his website. Ross was very responsive and has fixed the issue. You can now find all the grocery lists at the correct location. This makes shopping for the plan so much easier! It is easy to follow and let’s you print or use your device to look up all recipes and each 7 day plan. I will update review when I finish plan.I started reading the book and there is a section on what to do 7 days before you start the cleanse. I thought that sounds great you can quit coffee and ease your way in to the cleanse. The book points to a website where it tells you that you can get the shopping lists for the 7 days before as well as the recipes. I was so happy the book made it so easy until I went to the website. There is no shopping list for the 7 days before the cleanse. Only the cleanse. So I searched and it said you could use the support email for questions. I have sent 2 emails and it has been quite a few days and no answer. There is a place to sign up for help from Ross directly but that cost money. I’m disappointed that the book doesn’t have all the material it says will be available to you and they don’t seem to answer the support email. If you have a question you should be able to find a free support about questions pertaining to book.

Wow. This makes so much sense!
I am so impressed with this book and this author. I was recently diagnosed with severe osteoporosis at age 64, and everything in this book rings true to me - gut issues, pH imbalances, hormone disruption, etc.... I have researched so many approaches to healing and nutrition. I even tried the Keto diet and it just didn't work with my digestive system - now I know why. This is a much more balanced approach and makes so much sense. It's not a "diet" - it's all about rebalancing - about giving your body what it needs to rebalance itself. I am so grateful to you, Ross, for your generous work and inspiration - and for honoring mother nature and the innate healing power of the human body. Well done!

A Fabulous book, Highly Recommeded
I had been awaiting the arrival of this book for some time and I have not been disappointed. I have read most of the book now and I can say that Ross really knows what he is talking about. I have been a health nut for about 14 years and agree with everything that he has written. I had fallen off the band wagon recently and needed something that would be really easy to follow and give me the info I needed to pull my health and weight into optimum levels again. If you have been struggling with what you regard as "age related" or "family inherited" health issues then this book is DEFINITELY for you.

This got me out of pain, off arthritis medication and back to the weight I was at in my 20's
Ross is an absolute inspiration and this book offers support with very solid, evidence backed research and practical ways of eating clean to enjoy an abundance of energy. All the hard work has been done for you and there are shopping lists and recipes to help you to reset and rebalance all your major systems that will lead to ultimate health by nourishing your body with the food it needs to maintain energy, vitality and great health.It has just the right amount of information to get you started whilst allowing you to use your own imagination to create healthy recipes based on your own preferences. It is not one of those books that has too much information that overwhelms you. It is also more than just a recipe book. Ross also gives practical advice on physical and mental wellbeing.I have personally followed this way of living for a few years to avoid medication and it has worked for me. Some may say that it is not practical and is hard to maintain; I would say if you are willing to invest in your health, and once you know the core ingredients and the principle of maintaining an 80/20 approach, the possibilities are endless.The alkaline way of living is a lifestyle and this book gives you all the information you need to set your own personal goals for making better food and lifestyle choices to improve your health and well-being.Highly recommended for those who are looking for an alternative way to heal without the need for conventional medication. Love, love, love this book.

Excellent Book to Help Get your Health Back on Track the Easy, Natural Way
I bought The Alkaline Reset Cleanse book about a week ago, and it’s a great book for anyone to have on their shelf I have to say. I would highly recommend it. I also got it in time to avail of all the bonus extras (videos, recipes, etc.).Personally, I find a lot of the menus incorporate foods to which I’m sensitive/have an intolerance (coconut, avocados), so I'm going to use the foods that I know suit me, but choose alkaline, and then also within that treat myself as a unique individual and avoid the things that I know don't suit me. Ross tells us there is no need to be perfect, if you start doing a lot of the things recommended in the book (e.g. 2+ litres of water a day, turmeric daily, and many more easy to incorporate tips) you will automatically feel better for it.You can either follow stuff as best you can... you can do a ‘pre-cleanse week’ (or for as many weeks as you like), and/or then when you are ready you can do the 7-day cleanse, which is basically giving all the organs/system a break to reset/renew/repair, and get all the microvilli standing up again (if they were clogged) so that they can take in all the nutrients of the foods you are eating much better. Basically, it's all liquids for the week, but from a set and well thought out and balanced daily eating plan, with all recipes and shopping lists provided (he really does tick all the boxes to make it as easy as possible for you). During the 7-day cleanse you eat every 2 hours on it, juices, smoothies and soups...following the recipes/plan and everyone says you won't be hungry on it, and because it’s been thoroughly researched and planned, it's full of all the vitamins, proteins, nutrients etc. that you will need (actually more).A lot of what he writes makes total sense... he explains it all very well, in layman’s terms. But the Cleanse itself is a 7-day reset for the digestive system basically. There's also a closed Facebook group which I joined (he accepts you into it...about 6k members as of Jan ‘19) and there’s lots of lovely people on there, full of tips, information, questions, etc... it’s a really good support resource to have if you need it.I have read right up to the ARC back pages of the new book and it's really an excellent read, very reader friendly, everything explained with easy language that will make sense to anyone I think, even the science stuff!So, anyone that's thinking they might struggle on this, I'd say do what you can, swap out foods for other alkaline options where you can, and don't sweat it too much. If you follow as much of the alkaline plan as you can in your every day, it is still going to do wonders for your system. Very glad I bought the book!

Worth Every Penny!
This book sums up all the knowledge I have been practicing for 6 years and it is going to be very easy to do the cleanse now. The information is given in simple terms and I know that anyone can achieve this if they are determined to get well. This book is the final push I have been dreaming about to complete my determined efforts to wellness. I have shared it with my friend, who instantly bought it because they too have been suffering with chronic diseases. I sat down with the book on it's arrival and read 78 pages straight off. This is how interesting it is and validates my research over the years. The joy of Ross Bridgeford book is that you never need buy another book again. This is it. He incorporates all the knowledge you need to cleanse, reset and get well. I started with lemon water in the mornings and now I am incorporating a tablespoon of coconut oil daily and I am hydrating more. I thought 3 liters a day was good but 3-4 liters is the suggestion and I can do this, so can you! If you do not have the necessary equipment which I am fortunate to already have, I suggest a visit to the charity shop or ask at freecycle sites to help you out as blenders and juicers can be expensive but are essential to complete the cleanse. Do not be put off by the initial outlay but see it as an investment in your health and know that each time you use the equipment, especially the rebounder, that following the guidelines in this book and investing in your health is the best holiday/insurance you could ever gift to your body/self. I highly recommend it. It is fabulous and once I have got all the protocols in place, I think i will be doing it in 2 weeks. I can't wait to start. I want to make sure I have covered everything before I do the cleanse as I want to get the most out of it. I have done cleanses in the past but the nutrition on this one means I will not be hungry. The turmeric tea with coconut milk is delicious and because I no longer eat fruit/sugar my tastebuds have changed and I consume more drinks daily. There are plenty of smoothies, soups, juices and water to fill you up through the day and the only element I am missing at present is the exercise which I am slowly incorporating and the rebounding I can already achieve in short bursts. If you have a chronic illness, rebounding can be performed sitting down on it with gentle bounces and this still gives you a wonderful lymph cleanse and other benefits. Do not be put off thinking you cannot do this because you are ill. The very fact that it is juices, smoothies and soups means it is easy to prepare, save and freeze and those with low energy will find this easier than preparing and cooking a meal. If you have been suffering with chronic illness or weight gain, this is the book for you and not only will you lose pounds in weight but also save money by getting all the knowledge you need in one book. I am so happy and grateful that this book has come at a vital time in my life and I know it is going to change my life for ever. Don't wait. Start today and have the health you were always meant to have, and the energy to go with it.

This works!
The book is fabulously clear, factual (and with supporting references) and takes you step by step to success. Even writes your shopping lists and gives you a daily menu in advance. Now, I am not a cook, I have trouble dealing with shopping and cooking and varied interesting recipes, but this book makes it so straightforward and easy! I highly highly recommend it for anyone wishing to delve into the whys and wherefores of going alkaline, converting to a lifelong healthy diet and if you want, losing loads of weight and lethargy along the way. A really good buy, and Ross is so supportive and helpful online too. There is a whole community of people worldwide doing this stuff, and this book will be the tip of that iceberg for newcomers to the philosophy. Fun, supportive, interesting, tasty...what's not to like?
