The coins I put in slid down. This seems to be a big complaint in the reviews about this and products of similar construction. I found an easy way to avoid this by putting each coin in its own little coin case (search on Amazon for coin cases) and placing them in the display case.

We collect sea glass and it's hard to display it in a manner that highlights the loveliness of the best pieces. This worked really well as long as the pieces were about the same thickness. I used one to highlight six pieces of different colored glass in rainbow order and one to make a small piece of art with the sea glass. It was fun and easy. The frame allows you to hold it up to light to really appreciate the colors. Drawbacks are the plastic is shiny which makes where you place it important for seeing the contents. The plastic is also thin enough that we have put these well out of the cat's reach.

These are amazing! No more rattling glass and things falling out of place. You can see the translucent flint arrowheads with these and not have to open the case.

I was hoping to use these for my pressed penny collection but they’re too thin to work in these. I also tried putting challenge coins in them but they were still too thin. It works nicely for some shells I had collected though
