smarteefi Polycarbonate 16A Wifi Smart Switch Compatible with Alexa, Standard Size (White)

This is my first wifi switch and I'm happy with the product. Installation was done by local electrician and it seemed pretty straight forward. First time setup to connect to internet took some time. The manual has good instructions about connecting to internet. The android app is very intuitive. It's been a month since I purchased and it has been working absolutely fine. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loving it so far. It's been a month since I bought and using it to operate our borewell 1.5hp compressor motor. In the peak of summer where you need to operate the motor at odd hours like say 1am or even 3am, this as come has a blessing. It works while we are asleep and the sump is ready with water to top up the OH tank in the morning. Very easy to setup ( advice to hire an electrician as this is for high power devices) and the whole wifi automation setup is a breeze. Have Alexa at home as I have other smart iot devices and all I have to do is say Alexa turn on motor and it just good to go. Apart from this the schedule on/off really helps if you want to operate the motor while you're sleeping. I'll recommend to add an 12amp mcb switch before this switch and keep that always on. So in case of any load issue the mcb will trip and portect this switch. Only thing is you need to have an automatic starter without manual push button in case you're planning to run a motor above 2.5hp. I had a dol starter for the current motor but bypassed it. As it beats the whole automation part if you have to push the starter button.Again loop this switch from a tripper switch and that should be enough protection. It's working like a charm so far. Planning to buy 2 more one for overhead tank motor and one for Geyser when the monsoon starts. Highly recommend this to everyone.Have given 5 stars for all category except Value for money because I still think they can give this switch for 1599 range. May be got to do with cloud maintenance charges etc. But 2399 is tad pricey imho.

Product Instructions are quite clear. Set up is easy.Their app may not be a breeze but does all useful work.Four Stars for 2 drawbacks1. Range is low max 15 ft when mounted in wall, Range is required for manual on off. When used in schedule timer mode, range is not all that important.2. Looks and finish could be better. They should print a smaller logo. It does not look nice in bedroom.

The problem with this device is that it is too expensive.It is easy and straightforward to install and configure. It's very useful as it can handle 16A. Remember to copy the serial number and activation code printed on the switch BEFORE you close-up the switch pane (DAMHIKT). It connected with the app and Alexa without problems.The only thing to check (I've not yet done this), what happens in case the device is powered-on state and the electicity goes off. Does the device return to ON state or does it fail safe (OFF)?EDIT: Obviously, I'm an idiot, its right there in the app: You can set the "POWERON STATE" (OFF, ON, or RESTORE), which is very good! Revising my rating to FIVE STARS! Four stars for unreliable WiFi connection.UPDATE: Back to five stars. Recent app updates are great! The available functionality is sophisticated, and very user-friendly. Forget about other devices - looking at you Sonoff - buy this one though it is expensive.

Works flawlessly. This is second piece I bought after 2 years. Last one is doing well. Software has improved over time. Easy integration with alexa and remote control. I saw many cheap alternatives but this is really worth its price.

Really very helpful aftersale service and very excellent product. Using this switch since 5 years but no problem not a single time. Sturdy and long life product.

Wow..exceeded my expectations for sure. It's supporting all the features that I was looking for....and is working perfectly. Kudos to the HW and SW team that developed this product. I have multiple smart devices by different vendors and I can say that this up there with the best.

I bought this product for my over head tank motor. Could switch on / off motor manually, over the app Smarteefi or through voice command on Alexa. Can control timer for which it has to be on and automatic cut off. Also, I can set schedule, monitor consumption of electricity and can allow or lock manual operation.... life became easier and cool product with great customer service. I recommend it!
