Yes, the Robobloq app has an Android version, so Amazon Fire works as well. If you can't access Google Play, you can download from this link: http://www.robobloq.com/support/download

Q: Do you need a pc to use this? we have smart phones, ipads, kindles, and a chromebook but no pc.

PC is not a must. You can control and code it from a mobile device. But if you want to code it with C language, a Windows PC or Mac is needed. Because on the mobile APP, it only supports drag and drop coding. As for Kindle and Chromebook, sorry we are not supporting yet.
