Great sound with legendary Klipsch signature
I have been looking for a nice set of powered speakers to go with my Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo and Klipsch has always been on my mind. I looked at other brands on Amazon and seriously thought about getting those instead of the Klipsch. I'm glad I didn't. The Klipsch is a very sexy looking speaker. It's big and heavy. Bigger than I thought. I love the copper spun cones. Quality is nice but you can definitely tell that the cabinet is covered in the faux wood grain vinyl. As for sound, the Klipsch outperforms, even with against my Sony HT-A5000. Excellent sound, from the crisp high, and nice mellow mids. Bass is a bit lacking but the add on subwoofer makes up for it.My main use is for my turntable. BT is nice added feature, and it performs great. Connection via bluetooth is okay if you have only one device paired. If you have multiple, you have to do a "quick sync". I'm not sure if newer Klipsch's powered speaker are able to handle multi-connectivity.The remote is really basic. Buttons for source, sub levels and volume. That's all you really need. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the digital inputs. I wished it had HDMI in. I would totally remove my soundbar. Optical is okay but doesn't support today's decoding standard. USB Audio, I had to order a type-b to usb-c cable to connect it to my computer. I think most computers/laptop nowadays have usb-c. It would be nice not to have a one-off "printer cable".

Impressive Sound in a Compact Package
These speakers blew me away. The sound is clear, rich, and surprisingly powerful for their size. The built-in amplifier makes setup super easy—no need for a receiver, just plug and play. They handle everything from music to gaming and movies with crisp highs and solid bass. I also like the range of input options (Bluetooth, aux, optical, etc.), which makes them really versatile. If you’re looking for high-quality powered bookshelf speakers, these are worth every penny. I’d definitely buy them again.

Highly detailed sound, compact and beautiful
You may have read that Klipsch are known for being "bright" and I can say that is not the case with these. The highs are actually more subdued than the Edifiers they replaced, but oh are they detailed. Being a 4" driver, naturally sub bass is nearly non-existant, but what it lacks there it more than makes up for in clarity in the mids and highs. The bassline in La Roux's "Damaged Goods" is a joy. Separation and staging is wonderful. These are outstanding little monitors and you will likely hear things you've never heard before in your favorite songs, unless you also own a pair of high quality headphones or a bigger system. Putting these at ear level above my work monitors makes Excel tolerable, because they just look and sound so good.

Pretty darn decent
I'm a professional audio guy, singer songwriter, producer and engineer. I'm not touting these speakers for studio production, that's not what they do. My ears are still pretty good. I bought these to enhance the sound quality of streaming tv and music apps in my large open living space attached (bluetooth) to my Sony 75" tv. They connected easily to the Sony. I also bluetooth connected my Samsung S21 to them but notice that it's not possible to bluetooth connect more than one device at a time. Its a simple 5 second swap on the tv to get my phone to be the sound source. They're very small. I had my doubts when unboxing. But clearly, they cover the frequency range beautifully (above 73). There is bass present, along with smooth midrange and sweet high end. Sound staging is good. Playing familiar tunes thru them is satisfying, they sound natural, which cannot be said for multitudes of bookshelf sized setups. I don't like sub woofers, they interfere with the hard fought for recordings, IMHO, especially if abused. I get it that many want that thump, they want to feel the low end and that's fine. It's just not for me. Don't let that stop you from getting a sub but they're expensive. I paid $299 for speakers, I think the accompanying Klipsch sub is around $500.There are no EQUALIZER settings. You get what you get and fortunately, that's pretty good. However, if you are streaming music from YOUTUBE MUSIC or any of the many streaming music apps, you can use the equalizers embedded therein. Works well.I like that there is a phono switch on the rear input panel, no need to purchase a phono preamp to use your turntable. I haven't tried this yet but I will. The remote is odd, at least mine is. Results may vary. Gain staging or setting multiple volume levels is hard when the volume control on the remote does not reflect on the tv screen. So you have guess where the lowest and highest volume is. The trick in gain staging is not overloading one source and/or underloading another. You want a clean robust input from the original source and likewise a clean and not too saturated one from the other. My guess? use your ears and set the speakers moderately high from the remote but not maxed out-and then adjust the overall volume from your tv, tablet, phone etc. I haven't incurred any distortion yet but remember-these speakers only have 70 watts of power and you could easily go into clipping the audio if not careful.Surprisingly good even coverage throughout the open living space.I like 'em.

Lots of bang for the buck.
Easy setup, works great with my existing turntable. Excellent bass, and sound quality. Connects effortlessly via Bluetooth to my iTunes. Well pleased.

Bluetooth makes the product unusable
The speakers by themselves are good, not great. The reason for the 1 star review is that the Bluetooth functionality makes the speakers unusable completely. For my setup I have a record player that’s goes into auto search functionality whenever it’s on and not connected to Bluetooth even when it’s wired via aux. Fine, that does suck, but that’s beside the point. This record player has never been paired to the Klipsch speakers, however the speakers slip from AUX mode into Bluetooth mode every couple of minutes. Which turns off the audio because as I said before they’ll two devices have never been paired via Bluetooth. It would be great if Bluetooth could be 100% disabled permanently. It’s a lazy convenience protocol that should be able to be disabled by the customer who is NEVER going to use it for any reason.
