It's honestly worked incredibly at reducing the number of blemishes I get, and how long it takes for them to heal. It's also largely improved the look of my blackheads. In terms of hyperpigmentation and fine lines, I haven't seen the biggest difference.If you're looking for a serum to help reduce the appearance (and frequency) of your blemishes and blackheads, without making your skin really dry, then I'd definitely give this a go. I have used other 2.5% retinol serums which I found to be more effective-- for me this one seems more like .5%- 1%. Perhaps it has to do with the size of the bottle and the effectiveness degrading over time?That being said I am reasonably happy with this, and do think it is good value for money. Having the consistency of an essence oil, it is tricky to apply to your forehead without getting it in your eyes. That's not a massive deal because I use it before bed but still would have preferred it otherwise. Apart from that, it comes in the usual glass bottle with glass pipette and a label that is actually pretty nice. Haven't used it long enough to comment on it's effectiveness. After 3 weeks of using it once a day I started to notice a difference in the colour of the dark spots, they seemed to be starting to fade slowly. After 6 weeks is when I saw a huge difference. Most of them have faded. Theres now only a few much lighter ones left. I am confident they will be gone completely in the next few weeks.
