Why on Earth would you send a real arrow head on this? I have to change it for safty!

I was hesitant to order this arrow after reading the other reviews. It didn't look, hmmm, "special". But I was up against it and decided to go ahead and give it a try. Yes, the headband is very large, even for my husband's noggin. We were on a Panama Canal cruise over Halloween and my husband had no idea I had packed him a costume for the onboard festivities until five minutes before going up to dinner. He had no time to balk at the notion of wearing an arrow through his head to dinner. He popped his NY Yankees cap on over the headband and had no more trouble keeping the arrow in place. He got wonderful reactions from both the dining room staff and the other diners. It was a 100% success. Just be prepared to deal with an overlarge headband. That's all she wrote, CC

"Hey! There's An Arrow Through Your Head!" Be prepared to hear the witless yell such things when you wear this in public. That or people will call you Steve Martin. But there are a few who just snicker or giggle and carry on with their lives. It is for those people I wear this fine product proudly on my silly head. It's sturdy, bends without breaking to make that line straight, and makes it impossible for people to take you seriously. This last thing is why I go out of my way to carry on deadly serious conversations with people while I wear it. I also enjoy telling people it is self-inflicted after having spent hours at the DMV. Some folks even try to figure out how that's possible, even for a second. Great fun!

Got these for myself and man to wear at our respective offices for Halloween this year. I went as a modern, lady version of Steve Martin and he just went as a dude wearing an arrow through the head. It got a lot of laughs and shockingly people kept asking me how it was attached to my head... The only downside was that I kept walking into things and hitting the arrow on it, but that was just due to my own lack of depth perception. Now the arrows live on a taxidermy deer head in our living room and it makes me laugh every time I walk by. A great, cheap purchase.

The arrow-through-the-head gag is a classic. This product was almost great. It seems to be made well and is priced right.HOWEVER, even on my adult-sized head, the arrow will not appear as going straight through or anywhere close to looking like it's going straight through. In other words, the arrow looks like it goes into my head in at a sharp upward angle and comes out the other side at an extreme downward angle.I realize it's just a prop and/or a gag gift, but I still want it to sort of look "real". Anyway, I bought it for my 10 year old son and he doesn't notice the "defect".Just be aware that it should be made to look a little "straighter". Other than that, enjoy it! It's still funny.

It's a bit flimsy but that's the nature of the beast, I think - the wire has to be flexible. I gave one to my brother when he made Order of the Arrow in scouts and found it under the couch a few months later when I came home for Christmas: the arrow head had popped off, but that could be because the ferret or the 5 year old got ahold of it. I think my brother and I were both satisfied with it nevertheless.

I ordered this arrow-thru-the-head for my daughter at the last minute because she decided to be a target for Halloween. I was pleased that the arrow arrived just as pictured and in a very timely fashion. It's not great quality, but I really wasn't expecting greatness for the price I paid. It made it through Halloween and Halloween parties at school so I was very happy. I recommend buying from this seller.

I put it on over my trump 2020 hat when it was announced Biden won : )
