The carryring case and cover fit the Blackstone 17” Griddle perfectly! The material is a water resistant coated heavy nylon, the fabric type you’d find in backpacks. The zipper opens on three sides making it easy to set the griddle in and zip it up. Before you pack the griddle into the carrying case flip the griddle surface upside down so that the edges hug the griddle burner section. The case zips easily and the zipper seems strong and secure. Since the “feet” of the griddle poke up, I slipped a piece of styrofoam next to the feet to keep the case from chafing. The way the griddle is made, the projections would eventually chafe any case.My last photo shows the cover. The cover fits the griddle with the cooking surface in place (not flipped upside down). The cover is made of the same sturdy material and includes an elastic draw string to keep the cover secure on a windy day.I’m very happy with both the cover and the carrying bag and while I have not owned the more expensive brand name set I can’t imagine that it is any better then this set.
