Heinmo Aluminum Black Coolant Overflow Tank Reservoir Kit for 240SX S13 SR20DET KA24DE

Product was used for a classic muscle car restoration project. It easily met my criteria for quality.

The coolant overflow reservoir doesn't shape to the strut tower on the fender side at all and none of the mounting tabs line up, I got lucky bending the weak alloy tabs so I could mount it up but there's still a nipple pointing to the side where the strut tower should be flush with the reservoir and I had to cut an oem coolant bracket off to make it fit, The coolant level meter hose also needed to be trimmed to not bow out. Other than fitment its built decently well and still works and looks better than my plastic reservoir.

The quality was pretty good. I have A 92 240sx I put it on. It's NOT a direct fit, you need to get or make some brackets.

Does not fit a usdm S13 in stock tank location. Port is on the bottom which is wrong for a 240sx. Build quality seems decent if youre looking to modify your car or just for a generic over flow.

Fitting it to your car: I tried to install it and to make it fit well I had to bend the tabs and ream out the holes on the tabs. I had to snap off the tab from the chassis fuse box because it was in the way (instead of using that original mounting hole it uses a ground on the chassis). I also had to move my wiring harness and drill a hole in the wheel well for the lower fitting to go through.PROS:It looks pretty goodIt looks better and hopefully withstands the rest of time better than oemIt only costs $40CONS:It didn’t fit the car without a pretty substantial amount of modificationIt came kinda scratched up and needs a polish

Product arrived as shown, unassmbled of course. I installed it yesterday and neither of the tabs lined up with the holes i had to bend the bottom tab and drill a new hole for the top one. The overflow cap also feels a bit cheap although id imagine you could put any rad cap on there. Other than those issues its not a bad product for the price

取り付けステーの位置がズレて溶接されていたので、車両前方に2cm程ずらして固定しました。
