Rather Cheaply Made
Quite flimsy, instructions say taken apart for benefit of installing, really? Makes it all the more harder to reassemble. Spend more get a better product.

Robust replacement product
Well made product. Previous version had a flimsy moulded flange for the shade ring to screw against - this looks more robust. Electrical connectors are standard design. I bought three, and one didn't have the 10mm threaded entry. So maybe a quality control question mark, hence the four stars.

Broke. One I had was not safe. Do not buy. Could be dangerous.
So finally the ugly old bayonet bulb died and today opened up the replacement fitting so I could use the swanky new led bulb I'd bought last year.On 1st inspection it looks pretty good. Then I opened it up to see the electrics. Flimsy with just enough metal to make a circuit. Screws inside are all micro (spectacle) screws too (this should have set the alarm bells ringing).Next I thought I'd put it all together with new swanky bulb to see how it looks with the lampshade to check it fits the shade. Great, it fits and looks amazing.Next, take it off the lampshade.Wrong.Flimsy metal also doubles as the safety mechanism in there to hold it in place.Flimsy metal with gentle persuasion refuses to move.Put the bulb back in thinking this may work. Gentle twist again. Flimsy metal fell out. When I look at the similar, but less attractive, ones I bought from IKEA, I see lots of sturdy metal with separate safety mechanisms in place.IKEA ones seem built for durability. This one seems to be built for single use. I doubt very much that this passes full electrical safety check, my advice is to avoid this, save yourself the hassle of getting a shock and buy the ugly one from IKEA. At least that one lasts a bulb change.

good lamp holder
good lamp holder, just a little bit pricey for me but does the job as it replaced the one I had on a lamp which was the same fitting (edison)
