Solid Book on the JFK Assassination
Good book. Full of relevant information that makes a powerful case for complicity involving LBJ and Allen Dulles in the assassination of JFK. They definitely had the motive, means, and opportunity to plan, execute, and cover up "The Big Event." However, after reading volumes of JFK books since the 1970s, I am convinced that this tragic event was really not so much a domestic conspiracy, but an international conspiracy. Author Fleming's focus on Johnson and Dulles is the tip of the iceberg, but a good place to start. Fleming provides solid evidence supporting his contention that Johnson and Dulles were major players in "The Big Event." One has to wonder why Johnson never pointed out that America did not have a vice president for several years after he became president in 1963 in the aftermath of JFK's assassination. Not sure of this is common knowledge. Kudos to author Fleming for this sterling piece of literary work!

This work by Tim Fleming is a compelling and captivating tour de force that will be difficult to read. Not because it is confusing or poorly written. It is neither. It is difficult to read, though, because it exposes a sinister and ugly underside to the history of America, which will make you uncomfortable. I hope. Fleming quotes J. Edgar Hoover, director of the FBI and its predecessor agency from 1924-72: “If I told you what I really know. . .it would be very dangerous to the country.” Perhaps that patronizing sentiment has contributed to the fantastic “single gunman” theory our nation’s leaders have promulgated as the explanation for the JFK assassination. With his meticulously researched work, Fleming makes his case for what really happened and why, before, on, and after that day in Dallas Nov. 22, 1963. And for why it is important, today as much as ever, that Americans should care. I would have greater confidence in our nation’s future if I knew all high school students studied this book.

Fantastic Overview... Pulling together the Various Source Materials Comprehensively!
Just finished this, and Mr. Fleming, you've done a great job. It's what I've always wanted to see... the details that make sense pulled out from all the right sources in a coordinated manner getting to the root of the problem... the WHY. Blame is put on the right guys at the very beginning using common Sherlockian sense: means, motive, opportunity. Not a spoiler that it comes down to Allen Dulles and Lyndon Johnson as the major conspirators, with all the others in the lower levels of the pyramid just following plans for "The Big Event," all backed and paid for by the H.L. Hunt/Clint Murchison base. You pulled together the major players well, without overdoing it, even Nixon, J. Edgar Hoover, George H. W. Bush, DeMorenschildt, etc. I can't say enough good about this book. So I'll tell you why only 4 stars. Anyone who has delved into this rabbit hole knows how complicated it is, and you played it well, although a bit overboard on the body-switching (and never even mentioning the possibility of maybe it was Tippet's). Great job on John Liggett though... but there are two glaring oversights... 1) not even a mention of James Files (aka Sutton), even though his video testimony is very, very compelling -- he knows the times, the people (Oswald, David Atlee Phillips, Nick Colletti, et al...) and the weapon (w/ a "frangible exploding bullet") and location (picket fence)... and 2) Mary Pinchot Meyer (Cord Meyer's wife -- ex?), who was JFK's last and favorite mistress and probably influenced him into the American University speech, which sealed his fate, and who was murdered herself when she threatened to talk, what, months after he was assassinated? Nonetheless, you have done a magnificent job and your final analysis chapter on the End of America, even though I thought it was a bit pedantic at first, I've got to admit... you're right ("The gradual erosion of the stateliness and eminence of the office [of the President] has culminated in an illiterate jackass now occupying it..." I had to laugh at that one] ... even taking on poor Ken Burns for getting burned by the Koch Brothers on Vietnam and skipping over Kennedy's NSAM 263 so that he became a part of the problem. I cannot say enough good about this extremely important book -- the best I've seen so far on the matter. Be forewarned however, Dear Reader, if you haven't already done your years and years of homework, this will appear to be a bit hurried for you... Mr. Fleming moves at a visceral pace. For those of you who HAVE done your homework, the puzzle's perimeter has been laid out, more than half the pieces are laid in, and the whole dreadful landscape is beginning to appear before us. Thank you, Mr. Fleming!

This new nonfiction volume firmly establishes his talents as one of the best research analysts to appear in the past decade
I have always admired John Armstrong, a well known researcher who tackled the subject of a possible Oswald double. Many researchers have rejected discussing this issue due to several reasons. Some don't fully understand the process which became quite common in the military in the late 50's. Jack White, a Fort Worth researcher, was one of the first to attempt to explain the concept in his video "The Many Faces of Lee Harvey Oswald". Armstrong credited White's inspiration which led to his extensive expose HARVEY & LEE. a 983 page tome. Fleming discusses the Oswald double issue in detail demonstrating that Oswald's double was present in many locations especially during and shortly after the assassination. The author then goes beyond this Oswald double topic to show there were many other areas of the investigation that show evidence was manufactured. Double (or more) wallets, double rifles, double Zapruder films (one being an altered version of the original), even an additional corpse possibly switched with JFK's body at Parkland are evident. The author uses over 200 books, articles, interviews, and other resources to support his theme that all aspects of the conspiracy lead upward to either one of both of the CEO's of this conspiracy entity - LBJ or Allen Dulles.Fleming's first JFK assassination book, a historical fiction account, hinted at his researcher's credentials. This new nonfiction volume firmly establishes his talents as one of the best research analysts to appear in the past decade.

Catchy title, but not much solid or credible for researchers of the JFK assassination
I bought this book because of the excellent reviews of other readers. I came to it after a huge amount of research and expected to find a solid development of the evidence for the conclusion summarized in the title. Unfortunately, it mixes speculation with facts, and rumors with proof. Many researchers would probably agree that the CIA had a major role in planning, executing, and covering up the conspiracy. Beyond repeating what they can find elsewhere, the book doesn't offer much which is new.

A New Look At An Old Crime
Those who have spent many years reading many books on the JFK assassination will find that this well researched book connects all the dots and ties all the loose ends together. We see how the two men who despised Kennedy the most, former CIA Director Allen Dulles and Vice President Lyndon Johnson conspired with others to bring about the fatal events in Dallas. We see how some of the top men in the CIA, the military and Texas oil men used their power and influence to violently remove a president from office. At last, we see how fringe characters such as Ruth Paine, George DeMohrenschildt and Jack Ruby all played their parts in this real-life drama. Following the assassination, we see the enormous conflict about Kennedy's body wounds between the doctors in Dallas and those who performed the autopsy at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Regrettably, like many modern writers, author Tim Fleming cannot keep his left-wing opinions out of his writing and takes many opportunities to tell us how much he dislikes Donald Trump, Rush Limbaugh and other that he categorizes as "hate mongers". Nevertheless, whether you have read many books on the Kennedy assassination or none at all, I can highly recommend this book and its fresh look at one of history's great unsolved crimes.

One of the best books on the JFK assassination
At last. The two key movers behind the conspiracy to kill John Kennedy have been put together. Many books have been written about the role of Lyndon Johnson, but curiously Allen Dulles has been overlooked. The key point is that to bring those elements of the military / industrial / intelligence complex on board with the plot, it needed these two highly influential men with their wide range of contacts, to make it happen. Crucially, they had also to convince those people that a watertight cover-up was in place and they could not be blamed. One has only to read any book on the Presidency of JFK (ignoring the assassination) to see the staggeringly high number of extremely powerful enemies from within that complex that Kennedy had made.I am something of a JFK assassination obsessive and have over 30 books on the subject, but this one brings some new perspectives and detail to the subject. JFK had to got rid of because he was creating a more liberal, less right-wing America and this key point is dealt with in detail. If you agree that there was a conspiracy (and at least 60% of Americans do - not to mention several more across the world) and want an up-to date careful examination of the issue, then this is the book I would recommend.

Kennedy-page turner
This is a well researched taught, page-turning, deep dive into the seminal event of the cold war with aftershocks we are still dealing with today including an unbroken chain of resource wars from Vietnam to Afghanistan with global warming as mere collateral damage. We are in safe hands with Mr. Fleming who knows his subject well and takes us on a tour-de-force of the underworld sewers of international politics revealing the grifters and shape-shifters who stole our future.
