I use my Samsung S25 ultra in dex mode daily connected to a dedicated monitor. I also use a macbook pro on a different dedicated monitor. I use this USB switch to use the same keyboard and mouse between them. Works perfect, no issues and this switch didn't require external power for switching these 2 devices. The device is compact and lightweight and easily mounted to the bottom of my desk with double sided tape, keeping it hidden while the remote switch is on my desk near my keyboard and mouse. The included cables are long enough and appear to be high quality. I had a different brand KVM switch before this and had issues where mouse or keyboard would stop working and I'd have to unplug and replug everything to get them to work again. No issues with this unit so far. This device was also very inexpensive considering the cables it comes with.Nitpicks: The leds on the unit showing which device is active is a good feature, but hidden under the desk for nice cable management, I can't see them. It would be great if those lights were on the remote switch, or if the remote switch had 2 positions to indicate which device is active.

I have a two computer setup. One that is my main desktop and another that I use to stream to my friends and manage all my audio. I got this to make switching my cameras and mic from my Audio/Streaming PC back to my workstation easier. The build quality feels cheap, but it seems to handle two 1080p feeds and my mic just fine. I have it mounted under my desk, so the included remote is a nice inclusion.

The product works very good. No latency or anything like that. They gave extra cables, but the skinny USB 3.0 to USB-C cable did not work. It was defective. I was able to use the other USB 3 cable for my needs. Amazon could not get me in contact with the seller to just get a new cable. Amazon tried to refund me and replace the whole product, but I refused to let them do anything.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Seemed like the best for my purposes. It works great so far! I am able to switch between 2 computers using the same mouse and keyboard. I wasn't able to access the USB flash drive with both PCs until I inserted the flash drive into a USB hub connected to the computer that didn't show it. Then it became visible and accessible. Great item.

Happy with the item, works great. Came with what I needed, small enough not to be too intrusive, i have mine set in between two monitors.

I tried using this switch to switch an external memory between two PCs. To start out, using the supplied cables, I hooked my PC to the external memory via the switch. The PC could not detect the external memory. I took the supplied cable that connected to the memory and connected it directly to the PC, i.e. removing the switch from the path and the PC still could not detect the memory. I took one of my own cables and connected the memory to the PC. The PC immediately detected the memory. I then put the switch back in the path with my cable and the PC could not detect the memory. Yes, just to make sure I put the switch that changes PCs in both positions just to make sure I didn't make a mistake and have the changing switch in the wrong position.Looking through the instructions, they mention an optional power supply that was not highlighted in the ad for the switch. My guess is that a power supply is really needed to make the switch work especially with the low quality cables they provided. In any case the switch was packed up and shipped back to Amazon.

This works just as intended! I wanted a USB hub for my keyboard and mouse for both my work computer and personal. With just a click of the button, I can switch back and forth. I have this placed in the mesh net for my wires and ran the extender under my desk so I don't see any wires at all. Just reach down under my desk and push a button.

My desk is split between my PC and MacBook as I prefer doing my design work on mac but also game and 3D model on my PC. I have everything set up pretty well with bluetooth devices to be able to use my PC setup with my MacBook, but got annoyed not having my webcam, mic, and loupedeck controller connected to the mac. This USB hub ended up being the perfect solution. It comes with a separate button so I was able to mount the switcher to the back of my desk out of sight and just mount the external button closer by me. The switch itself is reliable and fast and I have had no connection issues using it the last few months.
