I am always so excited when something actually does what it claims it will. This USB stick allows you to install Linux on your older devices. Okay, so it's not the latest version of Ubuntu, but of course, once Ubuntu is installed, it is easy to do the upgrade to the most current version.

I used UNIX decades ago and resisted installing Linex on any of my computers for years. Recently another Windows problem motivated me to get a new operating system. Using the USB drive made installing easy. i’ve got several applications not installed with the OS installed and working.Lots of commands don’t work the way I remembered, but what I’ve seen so far is much better. The Command Line is still there if you need it. But the shell does everything I’ve needed so far. I was a Systems Administrator and am comfortable installing software and OS. This made it easy I was insta.led and running applications very quickly. Ubuntu does everything I needed, plus a lot more.I’m reading some books and doing tutorials to learn Ubuntu. So far, I think I’m going to like this OS. I’m a beginner, but managed to install there RTl-SDR drivers I needed for an SDR radio. I installed an app that tunes to mt SDR-RTL dongle and within a few hours I was receiving stations worldwide on my PC. This was a real confidence builder and I’m going to be adding other Amateur Radio software.System is stable and running very well.

Long story short. Product is WORTHLESS.Does NOT easily boot & install onto your Windows computer.I liked the USB drive because it says UBUNTU on the cover, SO:Formatted the thumbdrive.Went to UBUNTU.com, downloaded.Used RUFUS, thanks to another buyer, and installed on the USB.THEN it was user friendly and loaded EASILY from the thumb drive.

The USB worked to install Linux with no issues.

Thought it would be easier to purchase USB drive for Linux Ubuntu OS rather than downloading program and making USB drive bootable. Product has both Desktop and Server distros. The problem is that it locks the computer at the ISO instillation phase. Bios security must be disabled for it to boot at all. One must have experience in Bios setup to deal with this product. Instruction sheet received with product is not useful since there is no trouble shooting of commonly known problems. It will be interesting to see what techstoreon.com has to say regarding the product. Reasonably priced and nice packaging.

Worked great when and after installing. Times I prefer it over the alternative.Hard drive crash, reinstall 7 to fix and this gave me everything I needed without office and Edge.

it looked like it was an awesome installer, and the thumb drive seemed fairly good quality. this isn't one of those things where they sell you an open source free os, and you take your chances... this was the real thing, yeah free open source but up to date and working right as a rescue disk would -- from what I could tell.I had a problem that wouldn't let me reach it via the dead laptop, you can't blame this thing at all.

Pedi esta USB para ahorrarme el trabajo de crearla yo mismo.Desafortunadamente no sirvió de nada. Marca un error al intentar el boot.Termine creándola yo mismo y perdiendo tiempo y dinero.No lo usen.

Well use balenaEtcher to install. Standard usb keyboard and mouse somehow not detected so at the grub menu just stuck with no input. A little disappointing!
