Creightons Sunshine Blonde Silver Tone Correcting Shampoo (200ml) - Brightens Blonde & Neutralises Brassiness. For Blonde, Platinum & White hair.

Well..I didn't expect much for the price of this brassy tone cancelling shampoo.. but how wrong could I have been! I usually only purchase quite expensive hair care brands because my hair is an absolute mare and does not like or behave itself with certain products; I have fine strand, but thick, highlighted mid waste length blonde hair that takes some kind of maintenance & upkeep as it tends to get really frizzy Arghh!!:)..Washed my hair this morning using only this shampoo; and whilst it didn't lather up like my fave well known blonding purple pigment salon brand, for example, we live in a hard water area and I struggle with the lather up + mineral deposits to maintain a platinum blonde colour and clean hair feel..not only did it give me excellent results, it has definately worked for me in toning up and cancelling some of the brassiness we get from our old copper pipes and mineral deposits water source.My hair feels soft, feels good in texture and looks good in tone. I am not saying this is the 'holy grail' of shampoos but for a budget blonding shampoo it's pretty amazing with a great deeper violet pigmented toner than you may find in more expensive brands :).Colour swatch pic attached X

My natural hair colour is dark brown, now at 51 it’s rather grey…natural sparkles my hairdresser calls them. I have lightened my hair to blonde. This was my first time of using both the shampoo and conditioner. WOW. For the price it’s amazing. Had read it didn’t lather well, though I found that it lathered very well. It has a pleasant floral smell, and has left my hair feeling so soft and light, with an amazing shine. When it was damp after washing, the comb went through my hair easily. I will definitely be buying this again. Thank you.

Great price, tones down brassiness, not very conditioning on prelightened hair though, hence 4*.

This shampoo is very good on my mixed blonde/greying hair and is a nice, light feel, leaving my hair feeling clean, looking cared for and smelling divine. The perfume is really lovely. Real value too as the shampoo goes a long way. Win, win!

I recently dyed my hair brown and decided to try this shampoo to remove the orangey tones. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The shampoo ended up stripping the colour from my hair and turned it more on the darker side which was not the result I was hoping for. It might work well for those with blonde or grey hair, but I would not recommend it for anyone with dyed brown hair.Overall, smell is nice and the texture of the hair feels okay after shampooing.

Recommended by my hairdresser. I use it about once every 2 weeks and it works a treat. However it has stained the grout in my shower so be careful when using.

I had high hopes for this shampoo, but it didn’t deliver the results I was expecting. Despite leaving it on for the recommended time, it barely toned my blonde hair, and the brassiness remained. Other silver shampoos I’ve used have worked much better.The formula also left my hair feeling quite dry and tangled, which was disappointing. I had to use a lot of conditioner to restore some softness. The scent is also quite strong, which might not be for everyone.Overall, this was a letdown. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Use to keep your toner level every other wash. It really does work. Don't expect it to remove brass or yellow, use toner and Vol 10 for that.
