I have been making sauce for 40 years and this is absolutely the best strained tomatoes I’ve ever used.I used to have to add a little baking soda to my sauce because of the bitterness of the tomatoes. With this item you don’t have to add the baking soda.

I've replaced all pasta and pizza sauce and every red sauce with this in our meals, and everything is lighter and tastes so much better! Just add some spices or sauté with onion and peppers. Amazing! Nothing else comes close!

I have started to make my own ketchup with this organic product from Italy. Now let me tell you why: some months ago, I was driving home about and hour after having lunch which included some organic salsa and chips. The salsa had a strong smoke flavor. While I was driving I suddenly began blanking out and sensed something going on in my brain. I did some research in Dr. Russell Blaylock's book, Exitotoxins and found out the smoke flavor and other flavor enhancers in the salsa were the cause. I had experienced this quite a few times. I will explain in short, MSG (monosodium glutamate) is a chemically produced flavor enhancer and has been known to cause severe reactions for a number of years. In the early 1900's a Japanese scientists isolated monosodium glutamate from kombu seaweed, which the Japanese has used form hundreds of years as a flavor spike to their sauces, soups etc. After isolating MSG he produced it chemically and now it is widely used around the world as a flavor enhancer. It does noticably improve the flavor of many foods. The thing is is that that the human brain naturally produces glutamic acid and the blood brain barrier at the base of the brain lets the artificially produced MSG through this barrier because it is so much like the glutamic acid in the brain already. The trouble is is that artificially produced MSG causes the cells of the brain to become excited and some of them die and this has been proven for about 30 years now. Now MSG is banned by law but the food industry scientists have found other ways to produce it so that it is not technically have to be labeled as MSG. So when I ate the salsa it was loaded with these flavor enhancers that did some triggering in my brain. Since I started seriously reading food labels I have not had any problems of this sort. These flavor enhancers can be called: natural flavoring, spices, and many other things to try and mask the real ingredients. Do an online study on MSG and see what you find out.

As I have no access to my mom's home made strained tomatoes, I buy this, closest I can get!

Perfect texture and flavor.

This is overall a great product with good color, thickness, and flavor. My only issue was breakage during shipment, which the vendor Davata remedied after some prodding. One might want to consider customer service when choosing which seller, as breakage in shipment is often encountered.

This is a great product. I love to use it in my very favorite vegetable soup recipe that came from my school cook when I was in kindergarten, 74 years ago. I make lots of it, especially when winter is coming and freeze it. It's delicious. I changed to glass containers cause they're healthier and I reuse beautiful glass containers. This product is in a beautiful glass container.This leads me to my only complaint. The adhesive holding the paper label is impossible to remove from the glass unless you use a heavy duty goo remover that's very unhealthy to breath and has to be used outside. I have bottles with label adhesive lined upto clean. I cleaned all from the first batch I ordered but these will probably be dumped in our recycle bin. I love the product and definitely dislike the adhesive.
